The Founder Ron Makarem has dedicated his practice to protecting consumer rights and re-establishing the public s trust in attorneys and the justice system. His aggressive style of litigation has earned him and his firm a prominent place in the legal community. Ron attended the University of Southern California and graduated in 1992 with a RON MAKAREM degree in Political Science with honors, cum laude. Ron then attended Pepperdine University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1995. In 2001, at the age of 30, he became a partner at the law firm of Ruben & Jones, later Ruben & Makarem, before starting Makarem & Associates in 2004. Ron was selected by the Daily Journal as one of the Top 20 Attorneys in California under the age of 40 and has obtained multimillion dollar settlements and judgements for his clients. He is an active member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). In 2012, Ron became a certified legal malpractice specialist by the State Bar of California.
