TRAINING COURSES OPEN TRAINING Our aim is to maximise know-how transfer by providing high quality training that builds on the existing skills and experience of our trainees and answers current market needs. We want to make learning exciting and effective and so apply interactive methodologies and practise-oriented tools in our courses. To maximise learning outcomes, RENAC has a well-equipped Training Center that encompasses: PV, solar thermal and wind power systems, together with energy efficiency technologies and grid-connection simulators. A computer lab that allows system simulations using state-of-the-art design and planning software. Open Training RENAC offers a number of Open Trainings for individuals, which take place in our Training Center in Berlin. As our participants usually come from a variety of countries, all Open Trainings are conducted in English. Most courses are between 2-5 days long and have a maximum of 16 participants. RENAC continuously updates its Open Trainings according to market needs. Information about the latest programmes can be found on our website. Summer School The RENAC Summer School is an exceptional opportunity to get an insight into renewable energy or energy efficient technologies while spending the summer in Berlin, the German capital. This is achieved through a blend of up-todate theoretical lectures, state-of-the-art practical exercises and field excursions. Participants have the choice to attend for one or more weeks according to their interest. The first week of introduction to renewable energy technology and the third week of introduction to energy efficiency suits the needs of professionals who want to enhance their career prospects by getting a comprehensive overview of green energy technologies. During the second week, participants study in depth diverse technological aspects. The training is updated every year based on industry trends. The RENAC Summer School serves as a platform to study in a team with professionals from many different countries while bringing the renewable energy know-how to perfection. TRAINING COURSES ONLINE TRAINING Online Training RENAC s objective is to make knowledge on renewable energies and energy efficiency available worldwide, for clients in any location or time zone. For this purpose, RENAC offers online trainings on renewable energy technologies. The e-learning programmes are structured in small comprehensive units of instruction, and learners are guided from one screen page to the next to work through the material step-by-step. In order to facilitate the learning process, RENAC has conceived an interactive experience: while written study material is the centrepiece of every online course, graphics, videos and tables illustrate the course content. Most learning modules are accompanied by self-assessment exercises. Additionally, the online platform enables communication with professors and fellow students. At the end of the training, participants can take a final test. Biogas Online Training This biogas training in Spanish language gives participants the possibility to gain profound knowledge about the basics of biogas and biogas projects, the design, implementation and operation of biogas plants, safety aspects, and political and economic aspects such as frameworks, support schemes and financial viability. The ReGrid Basic Online Training covers basic knowledge on wind and solar energy and grid integration. Participants who pass the online exam will receive a ReGrid Basic certificate. This online training is meant for anyone who wishes to acquire basic knowledge about renewable energy, for private or professional purposes. Support is available via e-mail and a discussion forum, one virtual classroom (live conference) is included in the training. The training is certified by the German central office for distance learning (Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht, ZFU). A new training session starts at the beginning of every quarter of the year. TRAINING COURSES TRAINING À LA CARTE ReGrid Advanced Online Trainings for Grid Integration of Renewable Energy The training is useful for persons who would like to learn more about methodologies to plan and operate electricity systems with large amounts of wind and solar power, and to learn how to manage transformation processes in their energy system and/or company towards large amounts of wind and solar power. The course material is suitable for persons who passed a technical university study or who have comprehensive practical experiences in the planning and operation of electricity grids / power systems. The knowledge of the previous ReGrid Basic training is recommended as a prerequisite for the ReGrid Advanced Online Training. Participants who pass the online exam will receive a Certified ReGrid Manager certificate.
