E-Learning Courses CREATING & MANAGING ANALYSIS GROUPS (Discoverant AG Manager) This course focuses on how to use Accelrys Discoverant to create and manage Analysis Groups (AGs). CONSTRUCTING NEW PARAMETER This course focuses on how to use Accelrys Discoverant InVision Table View to prepare data for analysis and reporting. FEATURE EXTRACTION This course focuses on how to use InVision Feature Extraction to analyze and compare continuous data trends by extracting summarized discrete values from the curves. PRIMR DATA ENTRY This course focuses on how to enter data from paper records into the PRIMR data entry tool for use in Discoverant. 1
HVU DATA ENTRY This course focuses on how to use the Hierarchy Verification Utility (HVU) to publish hierarchies, execute tests, and view test results within Hierarchy Manager. HVU TEST EXECUTION This course focuses on how to use the Hierarchy Verification Utility (HVU) to publish hierarchies, execute tests, and view test results within Hierarchy Manager. End-User Courses (Discoverant InVision) DISCOVERANT EXPLORATION This course introduces stakeholders to the Discoverant product. DATA VISUALIZATION This course address the process of designing and creating graphical displays of data in Discoverant as an integral step in transforming raw data into useful information for decision making. Students are guided through the process of developing relevant visualizations, automating the creation process, and sharing the visualizations with the appropriate audience(s). PROCESS AND PRODUCT MONITORING This course introduces students to proper application of the wide array of quality monitoring techniques available within Discoverant that increase process intelligence. Through discussion of use cases, students will begin, or continue, to develop their quality monitoring system(s) using the alerting, automation, and data sharing tools available in Discoverant. STATISTICAL APPLICATIONS This course discusses critical fundamental concepts relevant to statistical application in the pharmaceutical and biological technology fields. Students are guided through the process of determining proper statistics, conducting inferential relationship and difference analyses (e.g. t-test, ANOVA, regression), as well as interpreting Discoverant outputs and writing up results. QUICK START/REFRESHER TRAINING For individuals who are seeking to gain more experience leveraging Discoverant in order to gather data, create visualizations, generate outputs of statistical tests and automate results, we offer a two day refresher course to meet your organizational needs. This course is a combination of modules that focus on typical Discoverant output configuration in a hands-on environment. Level: advanced Length: 2 days DISCOVERANT USER TRAINING This course focuses on basic and intermediate concepts and provides a detailed instruction on the uses of Discoverant. Training includes AG Creation, Data Visualization, Process and Product Monitoring, Statistical Application, Curve Metrics, Visual Process Signature, and Multi Phase Analysis. This class offers extensive hands-on exercises to allow the student to immediately begin using Discoverant s many capabilities. Length: 4 days - intermediate 3
Technical Courses (Discoverant Hierarchy Manager and PRIMR) PRIMR DATA ENTRY TRAINING Students will learn the basics of entering data into the PRIMR system, creating and managing template instances, troubleshooting and resolving data entry errors, the concepts of check-in and signature, and handling reconciliation returns. Students should have an understanding of Microsoft Windows and experience using browser-based applications PRIMR DEVELOPER Course includes lecture and hands-on exercises on the rules and configuring of PRIMR Book and Page Templates, including basic design concepts, creation of the HTML forms, and more advanced topics such as system configuration and utilizing style sheets and JavaScript. Students will utilize HTML editors and the PRIMR tools to create and manage PRIMR Book and Page Templates. HIERARCHY MAINTENANCE A technical course that covers how to provide understanding of the tools and practices to maintain and update existing Hierarchies. Students will learn Hierarchy Manager tools, version control and object reusability features, Impact Analysis Reports, HVU data sets and reports, additions to existing source views, Hierarchy migration practices, and testing/debugging AG creation issues. Through lecture and group discussion students will finish the course with the information needed to implement repeatable, testable processes in their organization. HIERARCHY DEVELOPMENT Course objective is designed to provide new hierarchy developers the ability to create basic hierarchies representative of their manufacturing or product development processes. Students will gain an understanding of the data modeling process, including hierarchy outlines, data definitions, data view creation and the identification of analytical goals.
