Dear Investor, the Treasury is pleased to come back to you with the 0 calendar of government bond auctions, which can be a useful instrument to assist you in your investment decisions. For every month, you will find a double-faced page. On the front face you will see clearly highlighted the dates of announcement, execution, and settlement of auctions. These will indicate whether auctions refer to short-term securities, (BOT and CTZ) or medium to long term (CCT and BTP). The back face will collate information relative to the current as well as the previous and following months, clearly marked by specific symbols, so that you will be able to keep track of auctions in a timely fashion even when they take place across the end of the month. Official holidays are highlighted in the same way as started in the 1 s edition: when the European system for payments (TARGET) is closed, you will see a light blue background, which becomes lighter if the date is a national holiday but TARGET is, instead, operational. The present calendar will be complemented by the quarterly program, which sets in detail the financial characteristics of the bonds to be issued during the quarter.
