63% of American consumers were planning on doing the majority of their holiday shopping online in 2012. And 32% of consumers under the age of 35 said they d be doing ALL their holiday shopping online in 2012. Competition between traditional retailers is increasing, and the internet has given birth to a new competitor on the retail market: Online shopping. In addition to increased competition and easy access to shops worldwide via the internet, the consumers are getting more and more focused on both quality and price level.
