Home Loan Center Interest Rate Lock Disclosure The interest rate quoted at application is not guaranteed. The Good Faith Estimate and the Truth in Lending Disclosure are estimates only, and may not reflect your locked rate. The interest rate is subject to change without notice. However, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union does offer members the opportunity to guarantee an interest rate for a specified time period. Two lock options are available, Float or Lock. Both options require the rate to be locked no later than 7 business days prior to closing. Breaking a rate lock within 7 days of closing could result in a delay. I choose the Float option. The interest rate is subject to change without notice. I understand that I may lock-in the interest rate at any time after the application date, but no later than the date closing documents are prepared, referred to as Document. This date is generally 5 days prior to the scheduled closing date. Rates cannot be locked via voice mail or e-mail. Home Loan Center Application Deposit Agreement In order to begin processing your loan application, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union requires an Application Deposit in the amount of $500.00. This deposit cannot be collected until you have received your Good Faith Estimate, and have had 3 days to review the estimate.
