What is Axiom Dashboards? A tool that allows you to create interactive and graphical data presentations for users. A feature set that allows you to view data visualizations in Axiom EPM software itself, or via the web. It includes support for viewing a dashboard via mobile devices such as tablets or smartphones. 6

Who should use Dashboards? Administrators who create dashboards for end users. Report writers who create dashboards for end users. End users who interact with Dashboards. 10
Axiom Dashboards Overview Dashboards is available in both the Excel client and the Web client. Dashboards are designed within Axiom reports, using a special Dashboard Control Sheet in conjunction with the Dashboard Assistant, task pane and layout editor. The dashboard and the source report are the same file. 11
Dashboard Requirements Axiom Dashboards is a separately licensed feature. Use of Axiom Dashboards requires installation of the Axiom Dashboard server. Axiom Dashboards must be enabled for the system in order to make dashboard features available in Axiom EPM. Available in the 5.4 release. 12

Process Overview Steps 1. Create a dashboard-enabled report. 2. Set up the report to query the desired data for the dashboard. 3. Design the dashboard canvas with the desired components. 4. Configure the dashboard components. 25
Process Overview Steps Cont. 5. Preview the dashboard throughout development to test how the dashboard will display to end users. 6. Publish the dashboard to end users by generating a dashboard link or linking to it from a task pane. 26
Creating a Dashboard File You can create a dashboard in the following ways: From the Reports menu. Manually add a dashboard control sheet to an existing report. Create a new dashboard using the Report Wizard. 27
