This training module reviews the CRM home page called the Dashboard including: - Dashboard My Activities tab - Dashboard Pipeline tab - My Meetings Dashlet - My Calls Dashlet - My Calendar Dashlet - My Top Open Opportunities Dashlet After you sign into the CRM system, the home screen displays your personal homepage called the Dashboard. It displays upcoming or assigned activities from several of the CRM modules. To return to the Dashboard from other modules in the CRM click the UHS logo in the upper left of the Navigation menu. On the Dashboard, there are tabs that display information. The tabs that are displayed vary depending on your role within the CRM.

On the My Activities tab there are several widgets that display your scheduled activities such as meetings, calls, and tasks. These widgets displayed are called Dashlets. My Meetings Dashlet: The first widget on the My Activities tab is the My Meetings Dashlet. You can quickly view planned meetings, accept meeting invitations and access meeting records. Meeting records in the CRM can have three statuses: Planned, Held or Not Held. The meetings displayed in the My Meetings Dashlet status are Planned. To quickly indicate that a meeting was held, click on the red x icon in the Close column (rightmost column). This will change the status to Held and remove it from the My Meetings Dashlet. If a meeting is cancelled or re-scheduled DO NOT use the red x icon to remove it from the Dashlet, click on the subject of the meeting to go to the meeting module record and change the status.

The second column displayed on the My Meetings Dashlet is the subject of the meeting. When new meeting records are created, you can enter in the main topic or note regarding the reason for the meeting. Clicking on the subject of the meeting in this Dashlet will display the meeting record in the CRM meeting module. The third column in the My Meetings Dashlet displayed the CRM Account record that the meeting is linked with. Clicking on the name of the Related to account will display the Account record in the CRM Account module. The My Meetings Dashlet displays the scheduled date and time for the meeting record. If the schedule time is displayed in black text, the meeting is scheduled more than 2 hours into the future. If the scheduled time is displayed in orange text, the meeting is less than 2 hours into the future. IF the scheduled date and time is displayed in red text, this indicates that the scheduled time has passed and the status of the meeting is still in Planned.

Meeting records can be one of the following types of meetings: - Discovery/Qualifications - Demo - Evaluation - Proposal - Closing - Support - Business review The type of meeting scheduled will be displayed in the My Meetings Dashlet. Meeting type is not a required field in creating a meeting record, so the column may also be blank. When you create a meeting record for yourself the meeting is automatically Accepted and placed on your calendar. This status will display in the Accept? Column on the My Meetings Dashlet. When others invite or assign you to a meeting, there will be three icons you can click on to indicate your availability. The green check mark icon will Accept the meeting and place it on your calendar. The blue question mark icon will indicate that you Tentatively Accept the meeting. The red no icon will indicate you Decline the meeting.

The final column in the My Meetings Dashlet displays a yellow pencil icon. Clicking on this icon will allow you to quickly edit or update the meeting record details. The meeting records displayed in the My Meetings Dashlet can be re-sorted by Subject, Start Date or Meeting type by clicking on the column headings. Clicking once will sort the list in ascending order, and clicking the same column heading again will sort in descending order. My Calls Dashlet: On the My Activities tab on the Dashboard, the next Dashlet displayed is My Calls. You can quickly view planned calls, accept call invitations and access call records.

Call records in the CRM can have three statuses: Planned, Held or Not Held. The calls displayed in the My Calls Dashlet status are planned. To quickly indicate that a call was held, click on the red x icon in the Close column (rightmost column). This will change the status to Held and remove it from the My Calls Dashlet. If a call is cancelled or re-scheduled DO NOT use the red x icon to remove it from the Dashlet, click on the subject of the call to go to the call module record and change the status. The second column displayed on the My Calls Dashlet is the subject of the call. When new call records are created, you can enter in the main topic or note regarding the reason for the call. Clicking on the subject of the call in this Dashlet will display the call record in the CRM Calls module. The third column in the My Calls Dashlet displayed the CRM Account record that the call is linked with. Clicking on the name of the Related to account will display the Account record in the CRM Account module.

The My Calls Dashlet displays the scheduled date and time for the call record. If the schedule time is displayed in black text, the call is scheduled more than 2 hours into the future. If the scheduled time is displayed in orange text, the call is less than 2 hours into the future. IF the scheduled date and time is displayed in red text, this indicates that the scheduled time for the call has passed and the status of the call is still in Planned. When you create a call record for yourself the call is automatically Accepted and placed on your calendar. This status will display in the Accept? Column on the My Calls Dashlet. When others invite or assign you to a call, there will be three icons you can click on to indicate your availability. The green check mark icon will Accept the call and place it on your calendar. The blue question mark icon will indicate that you Tentatively Accept the call. The red no icon will indicate you Decline the call. \

The final column in the My Calls Dashlet displays a yellow pencil icon. Clicking on this icon will allow you to quickly edit or update the call record details. The call records displayed in the My Call Dashlet can be re-sorted by Subject, Start Date or Status by clicking on the column headings. Clicking once will sort the list in ascending order, and clicking the same column heading again will sort in descending order. My Calendar Dashlet: On the right side of the My Activities screen on your Dashboard you will see the My Calendar widget. This will provide you a quick view of the CRM activities you have scheduled.

Under the My Calendar heading you will see the date range being displayed. The calendar displays a weekly view by default. Under the date range, each day is displayed in the column headings and time is displayed as rows. The date range being viewed can be changed by clicking the < Previous Week or Next Week > links that are located above the date/time table. Each click will move the view one week previous or one week into the future. If you prefer to view a daily calendar of scheduled activities, you can change the view by first moving your mouse over the My Calendar heading on the Dashlet. You will see three circle icons that appear in the heading. Clicking on the gear shaped icon will display the My Calendar options where you can change the View from Week to Day. After making a choice, click the Save button. Clicking on the circular arrow icon (middle) will refresh My Calendar Dashlet with the most current information.

On the My Calendar Dashlet, your CRM activities will be displayed as shaded rectangles on the date/time table. Red shapes indicate Call activities that are scheduled. Blue shapes indicate Meeting activities that are scheduled. Green shapes indicate Task activities that are scheduled. Clicking on the rectangle shapes on the Calendar will display more information about the activity. My Top Open Opportunities Dashlet: At the top of the Dashboard, there is another tab labeled Pipeline.
