The levels of Marital and Familial Impairment were obtained through the use of the Functional Impairment Scale and self-report. Multiple regression analyses were used to identify a predictive quality between the MCMI-III and Marital or Familial Impairment. Additional analysis was performed to identify a correlation between the veteran experiencing impairment in one domain of his life and any functional impairment in other areas of his life.
