PRERHY PROJECT : CONTEXT & STAKES PRERHY : «Projet de REnovation du Référentiel des moyens de production de L'HYdraulique» Renovation of the Hydropower Generation Assets Frame of Reference CONTEXT : Several changes have significant impacts on DPIH organization : Deployment of the RenouvEau renovation program : Strong evolution of hydropower generation business processes Supported by a big effort to modernize the information system Increase of regulatory constraints (safety) A lot of hydro concessions to be renewed during the next years STAKES : Governance of Master Data identified as a key success factor To keep a strong knowledge of the generation portfolio To validate and share master reference data among all stakeholders, from engineering to generation teams EDF PRERHY - Informatica Day - june 2014 14
PRERHY: OBJECTIVES & MDM PROJECT OBJECTIVES : Overhaul of the repository of hydropower generation assets description Extension of the depth of assets description Evolution to become master of data on its scope of data Initialize master data values with a quality level sufficient to be recognized as the truth Set up the master data governance organization at the DPIH level MDM Project : New «DoReMHy v3» application will be based on a MDM solution : In March 2013, EDF has selected Informatica MDM Hub with BPM ActiveVOS option Use of ETL PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality Project plan has an iterative roadmap to implement business objects, services and interfaces On going : 1st iteration, (version) to be deployed in production end of 2014 3 iterations scheduled until end of 2015 EDF PRERHY - Informatica Day - june 2014 15
