The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book reserves the right to refuse any wager, delete, or limit selections prior to the acceptance of any wager. Lost or stolen ticket claims will be paid upon presentation of supporting information or documentation. In the absence of such documentation The Circus Circus Las Vegas reserves the right to wait at least 120 days after the conclusion of the event and/or racing meet to make its decision regarding payment. The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book will determine minimum and maximum wagers on all race and sports events. The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book reserves the right to add, change or delete the Race and Sports Book payout ratio limits. The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book reserves the right to add, change or delete the Race and Sports Book House Wagering Rules, subject to regulatory approval. All future wagers are action as long as winner is officially declared, unless otherwise posted or noted on printed media. Pari-Mutuel Race Wagering Accounts are accepted through the Interactive Player Terminal. Accepting telephone sports or non-pari-mutuel wagers from outside the state of Nevada is prohibited. Pari-mutuel horse race account wagers are accepted from patrons only when located within a state or governing jurisdiction in which the patron resides or in a jurisdiction in which pari-mutuel horse race wagering is legal, and that state or foreign jurisdiction does not otherwise restrict wagering on accounts located outside its borders. Communication devices are not permitted to be used in The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book for, (a) transmittal of wagering information, (b) engaging in wagering activity, or (c) for any purpose when at the counter or standing in line. Management will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes. Any unresolved dispute arising as a result of wagers accepted by The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book shall be resolved as set forth in Nevada Revised Statutes 463.361-463.366 and Nevada Gaming Commission Regulation 7A. 9/23/2014 2
RACE BOOK HOUSE RULES The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race and Sports Book will consider official results and mutuels, as determined by the track at the time the race is posted official for wagering purposes. Any subsequent overturned decisions will be disregarded. Once both parties accept a wager, tickets will not be altered or voided after an event officially begins. Patrons will be notified of odds or line changes in the following manner: a. Posted odds for racing events will be shown from the televised track feed whenever available. b. Posted proposition wagers will be updated within 10 minutes on the electronic reader boards or the handwritten race and sports boards. c. Non-posted events will be announced verbally within the premises of the Race and Sports Book. d. Non-posted printed media will be updated on a weekly basis with the date of the latest issue. All races must be run on date and track scheduled unless otherwise posted or noted on printed media. If a race is postponed and/or rescheduled to a later date, said event will automatically constitute no action for betting purposes and wager will be refunded. A wager accepted after the official post time of a race is void and wager will be refunded. Minimum wager is $2.00 on in-house wagers except on trifecta and pick three wagers where the minimum is $1.00. All factors involved in race wagering propositions, payoff odds and the determination of winners and losers shall be established by race book management unless otherwise posted or noted on printed media. An exacta, daily double, pick three, quinella or trifecta wager accepted on a non-exacta, daily double, pick three, quinella or trifecta race respectively constitutes no action and money is refunded. All pari-mutuel wagers and payoffs are subject to the rules and regulations of the host track state. Winning pari-mutuel wagers are paid in accordance with the official results at the track. Winning pari-mutuel wagers may only be cashed at the property where the ticket was purchased. Pari-Mutuel wagering tickets will be honored for 120 days after the end of the racing meet. QUINELLAS Limit 150-1 House quinellas will be offered on designated races only. Please check boards and scratch sheets for available races. If one horse is scratched money will be refunded. Entries and fields go as one, unless deemed no action by the host track. In the event of a dead heat for win, the house quinella will be the higher of the two quinellas as normally computed. Win price of the winner times half the place price of the second horse. House quinellas must have at least 6 betting interests for action. In case of a scratch reducing the field to less than 6 betting interests, all quinella wagers will be refunded. If the same entry or field horse finishes first and second, then the quinella is computed by multiplying the win price of the entry or field horse times the show price of the horse that finishes third. If an entry or field horse wins a race and the other half of the entry or field horse finishes in a dead heat for second, then the entry is considered as winning the race and the place price of the horse other than the entry or field horse involved in the dead heat for second will be used to compute the quinella. House quinella wagers will be deemed no bet and monies refunded if an entry or field entry finishes first, second and third. PICK THREE Limit 250-1 In the event of a late scratch in one of the designated pick three races; the bettor will automatically receive a refund. SPORTS BOOK HOUSE RULES Management will keep a record of all pointspreads, odds, final scores and related betting proposition statistics to protect both the customer and Sports Book in case of an obvious mechanical or human error. Patrons will be notified of odds or line changes in the following manner: a. Posted odds will be changed automatically on the electronic reader boards. b. Posted odds will be changed manually on all handwritten race and sports boards. c. Non-posted events will be announced verbally within the premises of the Race and Sports Book. d. Posted changes will be updated within 10 minutes on the electronic reader boards or the handwritten race and sports boards. e. Non-posted printed media will be updated on a weekly basis with the date of the latest issue. 22.120 Prohibits the following: a. Wagers on any amateur non-collegiate sport or athletic event. b. Wagers on any collegiate sport or athletic event, which the licensee knows or reasonably should know, is being placed by, or on behalf of a coach or participant in that collegiate event. All baseball, basketball, and hockey games must be played on date and site specified for action unless specified otherwise on printed media. All other events including football must be held within one week of scheduled date and at originally specified site to be considered action unless specified otherwise on printed media. For betting purposes, the winner of an event or game will be determined on the date of the events conclusion according to house wagering rules. The Circus Circus Las Vegas Race & Sports Book does not recognize suspended games, (Exception: see baseball rules) protests, and overturned decisions for wagering purposes. On all future event wagers involving a recognized sports organization; i.e. Super Bowl, World Series, etc., the winner as determined by the league commissioner, chairman, or other authoritative officer at the conclusion of said event, will also be declared the winner for betting purposes. Games are official after: Football (professional and college): 55 minutes of play Basketball (professional): 43 minutes of play Basketball (college): 35 minutes of play. Hockey (professional or college): 55 minutes of play Soccer: 90 minutes of play plus any added injury time Auto Racing: Race winner will be deemed official for wagering purpose as announced by sanctioning body. Boxing/MMA (professional and amateur): When the bell is sounded signifying the start of the opening round, the bout is considered official for betting purposes, regardless of the scheduled length, weight, classification and/or championship sanction. In round proposition bets, when the bell sounds signifying the end of a round, that is considered a full round for wagering purposes. If the bout is officially stopped prior to the bell, that round is not considered a full round. If the fight is stopped for any reason in between rounds, the fight will for wagering purposes, be determined to have stopped in the last completed round. For all pick the round propositions, if the length of the bout is changed from that posted or noted on printed media, all wagers are deemed no action and refunded. All first half and halftime wagers: Overtime periods are included as part of the second half. All first half, halftime, quarter and set wagering propositions must be played to conclusion of specified portion of play, or will be deemed no action and refunded. All other sporting events with a scheduled length of play or time limit must play to conclusion or have five minutes or less of scheduled playing time remaining when the event concludes, or wagers will be deemed no action and refunded. In Boxing/MMA: (a) K.O. proposition wagers: K.O. includes knockout, technical knockout, disqualification, or any other stoppage unless otherwise posted or noted on printed media. (b) Decision proposition wagers: Decision means fight must go to the judge s scorecard(s) to determine a winner; including technical decision. (c) Draw proposition wagers: Draw means fight must go to the judge s scorecard(s) and be declared a draw; including technical draw. Baseball games are official after five (5) innings of play, unless the home team is leading in which event the game is official after four and one half (4 1/2) innings. Thereafter, if a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Major League Baseball playoff games will have action regardless of date played and/or completed unless specified otherwise on printed media. When wagering on total runs or run lines, the game must go 9 full innings (8 1/2 if the home team is ahead) to have action. In five (5) inning wagers, game must go five (5) full innings to be official. Both specified starting pitchers must start for action when wagering on baseball totals and five (5) inning wagers. Rules for baseball propositions are the same as those for baseball totals, unless specified otherwise on printed media. Baseball wagers are accepted in the following manner: a. Action - Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. b. One specified pitcher - A wager on or against one specified pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. Specified pitcher must start or wager is deemed no action. and wager is refunded. c. Both specified pitchers - A wager that specifies both starting pitchers must start for action. Any variation constitutes no action. and wager is refunded. Note: Each team s starting pitcher is defined for wagering purposes as the pitcher that throws the initial pitch. In the event of a pitcher(s) change prior to the start of a baseball game, money line odds will be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against an unscheduled pitcher, action and live one specified pitcher wagers will be computed at the opening price established by management with the new pitcher. In the event of a shootout in hockey, one goal will be added to the winning team and one goal to the total. When wagering on totals, overtime periods are included as part of the final score.
