Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation (HSSF) Common Application 2014 The Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation seeks to enhance educational opportunities, inspire excellence, and engage the community to foster a legacy of achievement. A critical component in achieving this mission is to award scholarships to graduating seniors of Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School. The following common application is utilized for several HSSF administered scholarships. You may choose to apply for multiple scholarships by submitting this single application. Please note, while you should submit a single cover application (pages 3 4), you should satisfy all the requirements of the specific scholarship in which you are applying. A checklist has been provided on page 2 to assist you. It is recommended that students customize separate statements and essays for each scholarship. Before beginning the HSSF common application please note this is a distinct and separate process from the Uniform Application for Community s that you may have completed for other available funds. It is also strongly encouraged that you thoroughly read through the entire packet of information including each scholarship to determine your eligibility prior to declaring your candidacy. Applications may be delivered electronically to hsefoundation@hse.k12.in.us or delivered to the HSE Administration Building at 13485 Cumberland Rd. All applications must be received by 4pm on March 21, 2014 2. All mailed or delivered scholarship applications must be submitted in a 9 x 12 envelope 3. applications should be legible, typed preferred. 4. All applications must be accompanied by a résumé or summary of activities. This information should include employment experience, community service, extra curricular activities, and awards. It is beneficial to the selection committee to also include duration of experience. 5. Failure to submit required items may disqualify you for specific scholarships 6. s are made payable to intended school of choice and not directly to the recipient 7.
