Catalogue Functions CUSTOMER SELF SERVICE Note that functionality is generally controlled by global and role based flags meaning features can be turned on or off with ease for different audiences. Integrated with PRONTO Stock Module 4 levels of category drill down Variable category drill down depth Products at same level as categories Category definition independent of product group One PRONTO database can integrate to multiple CSS websites Filtering of products available online Obeys PRONTO pricing rules Integrate notes from PRONTO Show images for products Show images for product categories Up sell (accessories) CSS uses its exclusive integration technology to pull data from PRONTO seamlessly without user intervention. Any data from the PRONTO Stock module can be integrated with the website A category structure can be set up independent of any other product structure within PRONTO. This allows for up to 4 levels of category drill down before getting to the product level. Each category can drill down to its own depth - so some categories may drill down 4 levels and some only one. If required, products can be placed at the same level as sub categories. The category definition can be defined using either the product group field or one of 6 other fields on the stock master. This allows for separation from the product group set up and the website catalogue. A single PRONTO database can integrate to up to 8 separate websites all with different product offerings from the PRONTO product tables. Simple online administration tools allow the selection of products to display online using product class, product group, sales type, user group, abc class and sort code. Pricing on the website obeys the business rules set up in PRONTO for customer and price. from PRONTO can be integrated to the website. Up to 5 different types of notes can be defined and integrated. In addition to this, extra notes can be maintained online using online maintenance tools. Up to 5 images can be stored and displayed against a product. Cross sell (alternatives) Powerful searching Integration with Lucene Search Engine Predictive Search Meta Data Meta Data Advanced Searching Fully configurable templates for displaying products and search results Dynamic Meta Data Filtering (Structured Data) Item price limit Product availability display Show nationwide availability Show any field from PRONTO Stock Role based themes Top 2 levels of categories can be displayed in any navigation Support for Kits Configurable Kits Override PRONTO product description CUSTOMER SELF SERVICE Alternatives for a product can be defined in PRONTO and then displayed on website. Any field against the product table can be defined in the dictionary as a searchable field. Provides Java-based indexing and search technology, as well as spellchecking, hit highlighting and advanced analysis/tokenization capabilities. The search capability learns from previous successful searches as well as stockcode and product description data. It can suggest what the user is searching for as they type. Terms can be boosted to improve order they appear in. Unlimited fields can be created against the product table. Meta data (i.e. data defining the item such as features etc), can then be stored on the product table for display on the website. Using meta data, advanced searching can be performed allowing users to filter on criteria - e.g. show only products that are "Made in Australia" Every type of product can have a different template for the display of the product. This allows for designers to dictate how products and categories are to be displayed online without any limitations from the application. Based on meta data stored against products, a list of filters can be displayed on the site to allow the user to auto filter their results to help them find the product they are after. The price of an item can display as P.O.A. if it is over a certain value. Almost unlimited options for displaying product availability. Examples include Yes/No, actual quantity, a manipulated quantity, words (e.g. High, Medium, Low), images to represent different stock levels. In addition to showing the local availability, all warehouses can be summed and availability shown. Any field can be integrated from stock-master and displayed on any screen showing products. Roles can be assigned to users. This allows for different content to be shown to different audiences. For example, users logged in might be able to see availability, but public users might not. Allows for the top navigation or left navigation to display the product category structure. Allows kits to be display and sold online. Can show components as well. Support for Single Level Configurable Kits Allows for an override description to be displayed online rather than limited 3 X 30 lines of description from PRONTO. 30 Lisburn Street, East Brisbane, QLD 4169 P.O. Lucene Search What is Lucene? Lucene is a high-performance, full-featured, open source text search engine. (for more information see www.lucene.net). It is the engine used for many commercially available search solutions. Originally developed in Java, Lucene has been ported to Microsoft's.NET platform through a project called Lucene.NET. Lucene's features include: Powerful, Accurate and Efficient Search Algorithms ranked searching best results returned first (otherwise known as ranking by relevance) many powerful query types: phrase queries, wildcard queries, proximity queries, range queries and more fielded searching (e.g., code, description, brand) Spelling correction relevance "boosting" allowing enhancement of relevance rank based on external factors (i.e. product popularity from web site history, product brand, etc) How is Lucene Used in Customer Self Service? Many search solutions based on Lucene are run externally from the source web site. In other words, web site administrators need to provide a data feed to the external service so that catalogue data can be indexed. Then integration is required to be developed to allow switching between the main web site and the third party search web site. With Customer Self Service, Lucene.NET has been implemented directly into the application codebase. This provides the following advantages: Fast indexing and an up-to-date search index due to the source data being local to the search engine. Search queries executed locally on the web site server, providing faster and more reliable searching No third party Saas or License fees Ability to apply additional business logic, such as filtering search results based on the current user's stock security (i.e. applying item restrictions) s of the Customer Self Service Lucene Implementation Ability to define search index fields based on one or more fields from the product or category tables Ability to define index field "boost" values, giving higher weight to search terms in particular fields if required. Ability to boost product relevance based on product values, such as the number of times an item has been clicked-through, or the number of times an item has been sold Define "Boost Words" allowing products containing certain words to be given higher relevance (e.g. promote your brand above others) 30 Lisburn Street, East Brisbane, QLD 4169 P.O. Box 885, Coorparoo, QLD 4151 Page 5 of 22

CUSTOMER SELF SERVICE Define Search Query Translations allowing automatic or "did you mean?" (manual) replacement of user's search queries (e.g. user searched for "rubber", system responds with "did you mean 'eraser'?") Spelling correction database generated from the product text which can be used for "did you mean" search suggestions. Optional use of word stemming for indexing and search queries - (i.e. laminate/laminating/laminator/laminated are all equivalent when stemmed) Define Search Index Translations allowing items to be found based on alternate text. Define "Trim Words" allowing consistent treatment of suffixes (e.g allowing "100mm" and "100 mm" to be used interchangeably) Search Tools allowing direct query on the Search Index including display of boost values, relevance scores and score explanations to assist with debugging search query results Configurable settings allowing features of the search engine to be turned on or off. Catalogue Browse based on relevance - listing products based on their score (including boost values) 30 Lisburn Street, East Brisbane, QLD 4169 P.O. Box 885, Coorparoo, QLD 4151 Page 6 of 22
