Featured Speakers Dr Philip Bekhor Dr Philip Bekhor graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1973 and in 1978 qualified as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatology. He is the foundation director of the Laser Unit at the Royal Children s Hospital, the Convenor of the Specialist Advisory Committee of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, and a Mohs skin cancer surgeon at the Skin & Cancer Foundation of Victoria. Dr Eddie Roos Having a special interest in cosmetic medicine for over 14 years, and using multiple lasers in his clinic, Dr Eddie Roos has changed the lives of many people in Toowoomba and the Downs. Dr Roos has presented at several conferences on various laser treatments. Dr Michelle Hunt Dr Michelle Hunt graduated from the University of Sydney in 1989 with a degree in Medicine. She is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Dr Hunt is a cosmetic dermatologist, laser specialist and Mohs surgeon at Inner Sydney Dermatology, Rhodes. Dr Robert McDonald Dr Robert McDonald studied medicine at Newcastle University and completed his Masters Degree in skin cancer research. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1995. Dr McDonald established Sky Blue Dermatology in 2000 and is a visiting medical officer at St. Vincent s Hospital, Darlinghurst. Dr Dilip Gahankari Dr Dilip Gahankari is an Australian qualified specialist plastic surgeon. He received MBBS and Masters Degrees in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery from the University of Bombay. In 2003, he became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Gahankari now works at his private practice on the Gold Coast, performing plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries.
Mike Watson Mike Watson has 10 years experience in the Interior Design industry in the UK and 19 years as Managing Director of Innova Design. He is an active and enthusiastic committee member of the Facility Managers Association and a member of the Australia Institute of Management. Paul Wiener As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Palomar Medical Technologies, Paul Wiener developed and coordinated distribution of laser systems to 75 different countries. Since 2014 he has worked closely with Key Opinion Leaders and Luminary doctors worldwide on new applications and product research. Dr Antonio Lauto Dr Antonio Lauto graduated in Physics at the University of Milan, before completing a Master degree at Macquarie University and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of New South Wales. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney and holds 6 patents in biomedical applications of lasers and tissue engineering. Sarah Chatburn Sarah holds a Bachelor of Nursing and has worked as a Laser Clinical Nurse Specialist since early 2008. She has performed over fifteen thousand laser procedures on clients for both cosmetic and dermatological issues. Sarah is a clinical trainer who provides training and support for medical practitioners and nursing staff within Australia. Dr Terence Poon Dr Terence Poon is a laser and cosmetic dermatologist. He is the Medical Director at the Neutral Bay Laser and Dermatology Clinic in Sydney. Dr Poon specialises in the treatment of leg veins, sun damage, wrinkles, acne scarring and tattoo removal.
