GENERATION BLOCKS & MAKI WRAPPED brings peace of mind to worried tenants GENERATION is Liphatech s trademark for Difethialone based baits while MAKI is the trademark for Bromadiolone based baits. Both rodenticides are single feed anticoagulants (one feed delivers a lethal dose) discovered and developed by Liphatech. 15g GENERATION block secured in AEGIS RP bait station Neil from HooRoo Pest Control in Sydney has used both products successfully to control a huge outbreak of rodents in a residential building of the Eastern Suburbs. I ve lived here for 40 years and we never had an issue. But now we see a rat running in the alley nearly everyday explains one apartment owner. Neil was called in to tackle the situation. After a thorough inspection it was clear that Roof rats were entering from the outside through the door leading to the rubbish room. From there they were able to access all the building through an access hole in the wall. Neill s first action was to seal the entry and exit points. He then decided to use a combination of Generation blocks in the bait stations that he strategically placed in and around the property, and Maki Wrapped in the roof cavities that he had just sealed. It was a massive hit, and thanks to Generation quick mode of action, results were showing up after only 3-4days. This was a massive relief for the very distressed tenants. When Neil and Romain were inspecting the premises a couple of days after the baits were laid out, a tenant came to us in a hurry to ask Neil to have a look in her apartment. While she was away, a rat started to gnaw on the rubber strip below her door. Having a young girl she was terrified by the idea of having a rat hiding in the apartment and wouldn t go in. What struck me as always is that clients always believe that dealing with pests, such as rodents, is quick and easy. But this is far from the truth. It demanded a lot of patience from Neil educate and assure tenants that the problem would be fixed as the products did their job. After a few days the infestation was under control and all signs of rodents activity quickly disappeared. The combination of Generation Blocks for a quick knock-down and Maki Wrapped in the sealed roof void where a bait station couldn't be used enabled Neil to control the infestation in good-time.
