Recently, I ve had some Technological issues here at the office, hating it at that point, it was hampering me in doing what I do for you fine folks out there in internet land. My wireless internet connection was so slow that I had a hard time working on the magazine. Well, this was totally unacceptable!!! I made a call to my local ISP and got that quickly remedied. I also had a small issue with my portable that I produce the magazine on, which was a bother. But the good thing is that these issues have been resolved and as always the magazine is still going strong. We are in the process of gearing up for the 5th Year Anniversary issue in June. I hope all my plans fall into place with this issue. Stay Tuned. But for now I have to finish the April issue and get started on May s issue. Until then, set back, relax and enjoy your Easter Sunday and take a break from the technology except email, when I send you the notice that the April issue is online and ready for you!!! Hunters Custom Auto Show has always been a big favorite of mine. It is a top notch indoor show right here in my area and always signified that spring and the outdoor shows were right around the corner. I began attending this show as a spectator before the magazine ever began. It has a little bit of everything and may have become a bit smaller, but it seems there are now more pre 72 rods and customs than ever before and the quality has not faultered. Bobby Alloway usually bring some of the cars that he has built to put on display. The show is held at the Tennesee State Fairgrounds on a yearly basis. If you are in this area in early March I would suggest that you stop by and check it out. WMM 4 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 5

Bobby Alloway built this awesome 62 Impala SS Convertible for one of his customers. It features Bobby s signature features a low slung stance and a set of killer large hoops. The silver goes great with the black cloth top and red body accents and bright red leather interior. This is simply an awesome ride! 6 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 7

(top) This engine is detailed to the max. Simply stunning! (botttom) The interior feautres a Glide frot bench and the labor was performed by B&B Upholstery. Street Rods by Michael built this awesome 32 Ford Roadster for Ronnie and Debra Goodwin. It s dubbed the Goodwin Speedster. It sports a Brookville Roadster body, a Ford 9 rear end, Pete & Jakes suspension. The chome was handled by Advanced Plating. I have a soft spot for Roadsters and this one was probably my favorite car at the show! 10 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 11

Emerald Elegance is a 34 Ford 3 Window Coupe that has been chopped 2 3/4 inches. It has a GM 3800 FI V6 backed by a 4L60E. The Emerald Green Paint and the cool interior was done by Hot Rods & Threads of College Grove, TN Owners are Lynn & Tom Ryding. This little blue beauty comes in the form of a 32 Ford Roadster. It features a blue cloth top, perfect blue paint and polished wheels. The interior is done in light grey leather. I can see myself behind the wheel! 12 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 13

This 35 Chevrolet Pickup is owned by Tony Stokes of Wartrace, TN. The bright red paint is spot on and flawles. It rides on a set of large 5 spoke polished wheeels. The bed of this 35 hauler features a custom made wooden box that provides extra storage for Tony and his passenger. The bed of the truck is highly detailed with perfect wood and stainless steel hardware. The gas cap is also recessed into the bed for easy access. 14 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 15

69 Chevrolet Camaro - Tony Perry - Meridianville, AL Tony s 69 Camaro is off the charts. It has a cool silver exterior with bright red stripes and a Corvette stinger hood, the interior is red leather with loads of custom touches. And under the hood it is filled with custom polish components, extra help in the breathing department and probably a few extra ponies!! WOW!!!! Steve Smith from Woodbury, TN has this stunning 65 Chevrolet Pick Up! Bright red paint and large polished 5 spokes round out the package. It has perfect chrome and all the trim is high quality. 33 Ford Vicky - Anthony Rogers - Bradyville, TN The paint is Harley Davidson Pearl White, the engine is an LT1. The interior of the Vicky is done in bright red leather and is perfectly executed. 20 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 21

This screaming yellow muscle car is a 70 Chevrolet Nova proudly owned by Jeremy Reed of Smyrna, TN. It screams cool with the bright yellow paint setting over a round of large diameter cast grey 5 spokes with a polished lip. Richard and Shirley Jones all steel 32 Ford 5 Window was another favorite of mine from the show. It was built by owner Richard Jones of Hermitage, TN. The paint is courtesy of Bobby s Rod & Custom of Mt. Juliet, TN. The interior was completed by Alton Odum also of Mt. Juliet, TN. The killer engine is none other than a 57 Dodge Hemi! What an awesome little hot rod! I can t wait to see it again. 22 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 23

Cool Rod is a 32 Ford Roadster owned by David and Donna Thompson. It was painted and striped by Rick Harris. The interior and top were completed by Alton Odum Richard Jones did all of the custom metal work. It has a SBC 350 backed by a 350 Turbo tranny all the way to a Ford 9. Chrome was handled by Advanced Plating and the technical advice by Richard Jones and Michael Young. 24 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com Here we see Heather checking out the Cool Rod. 39 Chevrolet Sedan - Jerry Stuteville - Nolensville, TN 71 Oldsmobile 2 door coupe is owned by Charlie Moyer of Nashville. Beautiful blue in color with factory white stripes and Oldsmobile ralley wheels round out the package. What a cool car! Charlie s car even had a factory 8 Track tape player. Any one up for a 392 ci Blown Hemi with dual 4 barrels, gasser style Thomas & Paula Walker have this 40 Ford Tudor Sedan out of Mt. Juliet. 41 Willys? This one has a 400 tranny and a Ford 9 with Rocket Wheels. It has a 350 crate backed by a 700R-4 and a Ford 9. It has 4 wheel disc brakes, a rotisserie restoration and powder coated frame. The paint is Hot Hues Extreme Green applied by Paul Herman while the interior duties were handled by Alton Odum. 30 www.wolfmotorsportsmagazine.com 31

Bench Racing Bench Racing is defined in several different ways. The urban dictionary defines Bench Racing as: 1. To discuss quarter mile elapsed time of a car based on a list of modifications or horsepower estimate. 2. Here we are on Easter Sunday finishing up the April issue of the magazine. Yesterday was a very busy day for us here at WMM. We began the day with a bench racing trip to Hot Rods & Threads, we followed that up with a visit to my buddy Chris Tackett s house to check out his cool 69 Chevrolet C-10 hauler. What a cool ride. I had seen photos but was pleased to see it in real life and take a short trip in it to lunch. After this we headed back to my place to continue bench racing before heading to Christiana, TN to Miller s Grocery for some killer home cooked grub. We followed the evening up with a trip to Mt. Juliet, Tennessee where Chick-Fil-A was hosting one of their Saturday evening Cruise-In s. The crowd was there, the hot rods were clean and in rare form and the evening wound down and we headed back to The Boro and the WMM office. Folks let me tell you, you have the make most of each and every minute of the day! Do not waste time, time is too precious not to spend it with friends, family and loved ones.
