JUSTIS serves as a one-stop shop for information that allows law enforcement and criminal justice users to view criminal justice-related information from multiple sources simultaneously. Furthermore, JUSTIS facilitates the near-real-time electronic exchange of criminal justice-related data needed to enable various public safety agencies within the District of Columbia to execute their respective missions. Statistical Analysis Center (SAC), a unit within CJCC, is responsible for independent research, statistical analyses, quantitative and qualitative data collection and program analyses. It is also responsible for policy review and facilitating information exchange. The SAC provides statistical information and technical support to CJCC s membership, committees and external agency partners. In 2013, CJCC s principal members established the Interagency Research Advisory Committee (IRAC) consisting of researchers across the criminal and juvenile justice system.
