WP1: Demonstration of the advantages of using oxazolidine in the tanning process Technical validation of the oxazolidine tanning process, in a semi-industrial and industrial scale, compared to the traditional chrome tanning process: 1. Evaluation of the environmental impact. 2. Evaluation of the physical leather properties. 3. Evaluation of the chemical leather properties (Eco-label for the footwear).

WP 2: Demonstration of the technical and financial viability Validation of the obtained leathers by means of the footwear as well as tapestry and clothing goods. Evaluation of the tanners process: advantages, difficulties, process modifications, etc. Evaluation of the leathers in collaboration with the footwear manufacturers, tapestries and the garments: advantages, difficulties, process modifications, etc. Economic validation on the tanning process made with oxazolidine.
