With beaded door styles, as well as those with roping or a raised panel, the additional panache from a glaze, whether subtle or dramatic, is worth a second look. Nearly every stain is offered with your choice of light or dark glazes. Each of the doors to the right began with a Mandarin stain on cherry, which is shown unglazed on the left. The center door features a dry coffee glaze; notice this door has a very similar tonal appearance to the unglazed door. Dry glazes are intended only to highlight and accentuate the door s profiles. The wet, onyx glaze on the third door deepens the overall tone of the underlying stain, creating a new finish look as well as profile highlights. When our cabinetry designers got together with our Antiquing and Vintage Touch specialists, the result was several impressive doors, each displaying its own distinctive effect. These take into consideration the door style, stains and glazes, the type of Vintage Touch methods and the amount of Antiquing.
