He s taken advantage of everything offered, exploring the myriad of academic and social options. As a New Student Orientation Leader, I ve had the opportunity to show incoming students what is possible here at Rutgers and the Rutgers Business School. HELEN KIM, 15 Major: Supply Chain Management A WORLD OF EXPERIENCE AUSTRALIA Helen seized every opportunity in the classroom, in her community even in another country to broaden her horizons and enrich her education. SYDNEY SECURED A POSITION WITH L OREAL AFTER GRADUATION Rutgers offers a wide variety of classes, which let me explore a number of topics, eventually choosing supply chain management, a major that prepared me for a broad spectrum of business functions. STUDIED ABROAD IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, DURING JUNIOR YEAR PARTICIPATED REGULARLY IN DELTA SIGMA PI, A CO-ED BUSINESS FRATERNITY, AND PLAYED ON THE RUTGERS WOMEN S ULTIMATE FRISBEE TEAM PLANS TO CONTINUE WITH L OREAL, BUILDING HER KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT THROUGH PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THE ROAD TO WALL STREET A significant number of Rutgers alumni work on Wall Street. To help future generations of Rutgers graduates get a foot in the door of major brokerages and banks, some of these alumni participate in the Road to Wall Street program. The program, which offers current students an exciting and valuable mentoring opportunity, is designed to explore and demystify the many career options within Wall Street and the financial services industry. Students are paired with a Wall Street employer through a competitive interview matching process. Students visit various employment organizations on Wall Street to get a glimpse of a day in the life of a Wall Street professional. Students have ongoing communications with a Wall Street mentor to gain valuable insight and to learn how to compete for internships and/or other possible employment opportunities.

Rutgers Business School The Rutgers Business School has been accredited by AACSB INTERNATIONAL SINCE 1941. The Rutgers Business School network includes MORE THAN 33,000 SUCCESSFUL ALUMNI. The Rutgers Business School features 14 ACADEMIC RESEARCH CENTERS AND 7 OUTREACH PROGRAMS. Rutgers Business School students won 18 AWARDS AT THE PHI BETA LAMBDA LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE more than any other school in New Jersey. HENGGAO CAI, 17 Major: Business Analytics and Information Technology LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM Henggao traveled to Shanghai, China, to participate in the Social Welfare in China program. While in Shanghai, he studied China s social welfare system and social policies, and was a social work intern during the International Service Learning portion of the trip. CO-FOUNDED RUTGERS-NEW BRUNSWICK CHAPTER OF FEELGOOD WORLD, A NONPROFIT SOCIAL ENTERPRISE THAT STRIVES TO END WORLD HUNGER STARTED RU GLOBAL NETWORK WITH FOUR CLASSMATES WHICH BRINGS TOGETHER STUDENTS WHO HAVE STUDIED ABROAD Traveling to China to study its social welfare system was a unique experience. The huge amount of exposure I had helped me understand China s nonprofit sector. ELECTED TO THE RUTGERS UNIVERSITY STUDENT ASSEMBLY AS REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE LIVINGSTON CAMPUS PLANS TO CONTINUE WORKING AT PRUDENTIAL FINANCIAL AFTER GRADUATION AND POSSIBLY ATTEND GRADUATE SCHOOL

SAIRA CHAVEZ, 16 Majors: Management and Religion DOUBLE YOUR OPPORTUNITIES After considering several majors, Saira chose management because it is the core of any good business. She decided to double major in religion as well. I enjoy challenging myself, and I truly believe that an individual should be well rounded, which is why I chose what could seem to be opposite majors. FOUNDED THE BUSINESS SCHOOL PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM I wanted to improve the freshman experience and help prepare our business students for their careers. The program also distinguishes us from other business schools, as most of them lack any type of mentorship program. SERVES AS TREASURER OF RUTGERS UNITED FOR THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS Our club is dedicated to advocating for dogs and cats in animal shelters. It has been an incredible experience to see how working with these animals, many of whom have come from negative home situations, can really change their lives. PLANS TO BECOME CEO OF A COMPANY AND START A FOUNDATION TO HELP LATINO/A IMMIGRANTS SUCCEED IN THE U.S.

MAJORS Graduation from RBS requires the successful completion of one of the following majors: Accounting Business Analytics and Information Technology Finance Management Marketing Supply Chain Management PREPARE TO SUCCEED Industry-connected professors help Rutgers Business School students access jobs at global marketing agencies on Madison Avenue, with startup companies, and across industries in New York, Philadelphia, and the tristate area. Nearly 100 percent of Supply Chain Management juniors obtain summer co- ops or internships. More than 95 percent of graduating seniors in Supply Chain Management land a job by July. The four largest accounting firms (Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernest & Young LLP, and KPMG) recruit from the Rutgers Business School. The Rutgers Business School has supplied presidents and CEOs to such companies as Prudential, Hoffmann- la Roche, The Bank of New York, and Public Service Electric and Gas. The Rutgers Business School Experiential Learning Program provides junior or senior business students the opportunity to engage in experiential learning using a problem solving approach to small-business case-study clients in northern and central New Jersey.
