AUX IN: To listen the music from the external audio device or non-lockable ipods as followings: 1. Connect the external audio device or ipod by an audio connection cable with 3.5mm stereo plug on both ends (Cable not included ). Insert one end to the AUX IN jack in front of the unit. Insert the other end to the phone jack, line-out jack or AUX OUT jack on the external audio device or ipod. Or connect the external audio device with RCA audio output jack by a RCA connection cable(cable not included). Insert one end the RCA connection cable to the audio output on external device(such as TV, DVD player...). Insert the other end to the Audio Jack on the rear of the unit, 2. Press the POWER/FUNC button on the unit or the button on the remote control to turn on the unit. 3. Press the POWER / FUNC on the unit or the FUNCTION button on the remote control repeatedly until AUX appears on the display. Play the music in the connected audio device or ipod as usual. 4. Turn the VOLUME knob on the unit or press the VOL+/- button on the remote control to adjust volume level as desired. 5. When finish listening, press and hold POWER/FUNC on the unit or press the button on the remote control to turn the unit to the power off ( standby ) mode. Note: Connect the external audio device to either AUX IN jack on the unit only. Never connect two inputs at the same time. Otherwise, both sounds are mixed together and hearing from speaker. 12
ALARM SETTING: Alarm 1 setting 1. Make sure the unit is in power off(standby ) mode before setting. 2. Press and hold the AL1 button until alarm 1 time and ( or or ) appears on the display. 3. Press / button on the unit or press the / button on the remote control to set the wake up mode to buzz, radio, or ipod/ipone as desired. 4. Press AL1 button again, the hour digits will blink. 5. Press the / button repeatedly to set the hour (Make sure the PM indicator appear on the display if the alarm time is PM ). 6. Press the AL1 button again, the digits of the minute will blink. 7. Press / button on the unit or the / button on the remote control repeatedly to set the minute. 8. Press the AL1 button again, volume level will appear on the display. Press the / button repeatedly to set wake up sound level. 9. Press AL1 button to save the settings and exit. Alarm 2 setting Same as Alarm1 setting, but press AL2 button instead AL1 button. Important Notes: - If radio selected, receive the desired stations as previous procedures before active alarm. Otherwise when alarm goes off, no sound will be heard from the speaker. - If ipod/ iphone mode selected, make sure the ipod/iphone is docked in the docking properly. Otherwise, when alarm goes off, no sound will be heard from the speaker. 13
Shut off alarm: - When alarm goes off, press the AL1 or AL2 button to turn off the alarm, the alarm will be reset for the next day. - To turn off the alarm completely (not reset for the next day). Press the AL1 or AL2 button repeatedly until all the alarm indicators disappear. Snooze: The alarm can be temporarily turned off manually by pressing the SNOOZE button or power button, the alarm will turn back on automatically 9 minutes later. This feature can be repeated until Power/Function button on the unit or button on the remote control was pressed. Sleep Timer - In the power on mode, press the "SNOOZE/ SLEEP" button on the unit or the "SNOOZE/ SLEEP" button on the remote control to activate the sleep function (Sleep time will appear on the display). Press the "SNOOZE / SLEEP" button on the unit or the "SNOOZE/SLEEP" button on the remote control repeatedly to set the sleep timer to 00-90 minutes as desired. - To turn off the sleep timer before time is up, press and hold "POWER/FUNC" button on the unit or press the button on the remote control to power off the unit. Mute: Press the back. button on the remote control to set the silent mode, press again to turn the sound 14
