.Net and Pro Flow Qicscript.Net to Qicscript Plus Importer Follow Up To/Do Lists: Patients Follow Up/To Do lists are now exported from Qicscript.Net and imported into Qicscript Plus. After being imported into Qicscript Plus each patient s Follow Up/To Do list can be viewed by opening the specific patient. On the Personal Details Screen, select option 4 Med Management, then select Follow Up/To Do List from the available list of options under Med Management. 3

How to Create a Follow Up/To Do Task Having searched for and selected the relevant patient, select option 4 for Med Management on the Personal Details Screen. Then select Follow Up/To Do List from the available list of options under Med Management. The following window will be displayed: Click New to create a new Follow Up/To Do task. The following window will be displayed: 5
The user should enter the following details: Description Task is Due date Details of the Task Click Ok to save the Follow Up/To Do task. Once the patients file is reopened and the Task Due date is within the next 5 days, the Follow Up/To Do task will appear as per screen shot below: The task will appear in the patients file, 5 days prior to the Task Due date and 5 days following the Task Due date. To stop the task appearing, the user should set the task to Completed as per screen shot below: 6
Drug Written As The drug name will now appear on the Drug Written As pop-up when the Pop-Up appears during dispensing and MDS dispensing: Patient Charts When printing the patient charts it is now possible for a user to print specific items only on the charts. To do this the user should prime the items that they would like to appear on the charts. Then choose the Print Primed option on the advanced tab; selecting this option will only print the primed items on the patient charts: 7
Round Time Colours: Care Home Level Round time colours can now be set at care home level. This will allow care homes to have different round time colours. NOTE: Please note that when a new care home is created the standard colours set at store level will be automatically applied to the care home. Also please note that only the first four colours are set on installation. The user will have to set the remaining colours at store level. To review the round time colours set at store level, select Administration->Patients-> Admin Time Colour Schemes and the following window will be displayed: 8
Round Time Colours: Patient Level Round time colours can now be set at patient level. This will allow patients to have different round time colours to other patients in the care home. To do this the user must first choose to override the patient round times. They can then change the patient round time colours: NOTE: Please note that when a patient is assigned to a care home the standard colours set at care home level will be automatically applied to the patient. 9
Text Messaging Add/Edit SMS Templates Users can now Add and Edit SMS Templates by clicking the Add/Edit SMS Template button as displayed below: The following window will be displayed: Select the New button to add a new SMS Template. 10
Users can create the SMS Template details and can use the shortcut keys on the right hand side of the screen to add details to the message, for example Pharmacy Name, Full Patient Name etc. When sending the text message the user can now select the new templates using the Select Template button: 11
This will show the user the templates that have been created: Conversion Historical Exception Report After a conversion from Qicscript.Net it is possible to download historical exception reports once the pharmacy has a valid certificate. 12
Scheme code past expiry date There is a scheme setting called Confirm Patient Code and when set to Confirm if Code is blank and/or is Expired, this will stop the user dispensing, and prompt them to enter a valid patient code and expiry number: Labelling Phased Left A new field Phased Left has been added to the label layouts. When added this will show the phased quantity left to be dispensed. 13
Audit Trail Dispensed Item An audit trail has been added to the dispensed item details screen. This can be viewed by tabbing into the history, pressing F9 on the item you wish to query, and selecting number 42 Audit Trail : Changes to certain fields will be tracked here: 14
Patient File A new Audit Trail tab has also been added to the patient file. Certain fields will be tracked and recorded here:.net Flow Dispensing Stop at Prescribing GP A store setting Stop on Prescribing GP in.net Workflow has been added. When activated this will stop the cursor on the Prescribing GP field when dispensing a prescription. 15
Drug Substitution A new store setting has been added to store details: Force Y/N in Drug Substitution Prompt. When this option is active and the drug substitution pop-up appears the user will not be able to press Enter or Esc. The user will have to press Y or N on the keyboard. The user will also be able to use the mouse to select Yes or No. Please note that this setting is turned off by default. 16
Automatically set Refused Generic / Co-Pay It is now possible to have the Refused Generic option to be automatically applied to certain drugs. Two new settings have been added to Qicscript Plus 1. Store Setting: Copay Auto 2. Drug Setting : Brand Product 17
The new field on the drug file Brand Product will allow the user to mark a product as a brand product. Steps to ensure Refused Generic / Co Pay is set automatically. 1. Activate Copay Auto field in store details. 2. Flag a drug as Brand Product on the drug file. 3. Dispense a drug which has been flagged as brand generic and when the Drug Written As pop-up appears the user can choose any option except Wrote Do Not Substitute and the Refused Generic option will automatically be set and a Co-Pay will be charged. Repeat Tab Users can now specify how many months of repeat prescriptions they would like to view on the repeats tab in the dispensing screen. Currently the system shows all repeats in this tab. This new setting can be activated by going to Administration->Miscellaneous Tables->Store Details- >Dispensing Tab: enter the number of months of repeat prescriptions you wish to view in the Repeats No Of Months to Check field. This setting is defaulted to zero which will show all repeats. 18
For example, entering 3 will mean that only repeats for the last 3 months will be seen on the repeats tab. 19
Dispensing items on multiple schemes It is now possible to tag and dispense items from different schemes using the green arrow (pressing enter). In the example above the following will be generated: 1 GMS script with Ompeprazole 1 HT script with Roferon 1 DR script with Ponstan and Seretide NOTE: Please note that DR will be the last script dispensed in this example. If the user then enters the history and tags another GM item and dispenses it all the items on the DR script will change to a GM script. 20
Verify Prescriptions On the verify prescriptions screen the following text has been changed.
