ATTIC SPACES: 07A FINDING - The attic area was not inspected due to the potential damage to the ceiling below and potential safety hazards to the inspector. RECOMMENDATION - Upon request of the owner and release of liability, Gressett Termite Control inc. can return to inspect the attic. We will then issue a supplemental report outlining our findings and recommendations based on a visual inspection. ***PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT INSPECT THE ATTIC IF IT IS NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE. INFORMATION 8. GARAGES: 08A FINDING - A visual inspection of the garage was performed, as well as to the sheetrock walls. However, the enclosed interior wall framing can not be inspected due to finished walls & ceiling. No infections were noted at this time. RECOMMENDATION - Periodical inspections by Gressett Termite Control, inc. SECTION 2 9. DECKS-PATIOS: 09A FINDING - There is fungus damage to the 1x trim at the handrail system of the deck. RECOMMENDATION - Cut out the damaged members and reinforce with new wood as required to correct this structural deficiency. Chemically treat the area with Timbor, a wood preservative. SECTION 1 11. EXTERIOR: 11A FINDING - There is fungus damage to the exterior siding. RECOMMENDATION - Remove damaged siding and replace with new siding. Use present day milling and apply prime paint to blend. 11B FINDING - There is earth contact to the base of the siding. RECOMMENDATION - Lower the soil as required to provide proper clearance. SECTION 1 11C FINDING - There is fungus damage to the 2x trim. RECOMMENDATION - Repair as required to correct this condition.
