App Name: Commercient s ERP Quotations and Opportunities for Salesforce App Type: Extension App. This app extends the Commercient s ERP Order Entry & Quote App for Salesforce which in turn extends Commercient s ERP Sync for Salesforce app. About Quotations and Opportunities: Commercient s app for Salesforce provides Sales and Customer Service users with the ability to create Quotes and Opportunities and convert them to a Sales Order with one easy click. The Opportunity and Quote data is stored against the native Salesforce objects thus allowing you to use the standard Salesforce dashboards, reports, and PDF prints to manage your Quoting and Opportunity pipelines. Salesforce Enterprise edition is required for support of the Quotations functionality within the Opportunity system. Build your quote using the ERP s Stock Codes for your existing customers or for prospective customers. Commercient will calculate the pricing using your ERP customer level pricing rules. Building quotes for sales people becomes as intuitive as ordering an item online. Sales can find the right products by using the product search engine, browsing the catalogs, and scanning items into the order, at a tradeshow for example. The built -in web Configurator helps users choose the right items to build a correct order. Page 1 of 7

Quoting: Make your job easier with these features Works the way you work: In your browser, on your tablet, on your PC, on your Mac. Opportunities and Quotes can be entered for an existing ERP AR Customer that has been synced to Salesforce or for a new prospect which is not yet in the ERP (Prospective Quote AR Customer). Pricing for both scenarios is driven by the ERP pricing rules. Pricing is calculated using contract pricing, simple coded pricing (price codes), buying group pricing, extended pricing, volume discounted pricing, and line/order level product class discounts. Pricing can be manually edited or discounted by a percentage. Online Inventory Availability can be seen for one or more warehouses. Inventory availability quantities can be customized and calculated for your company with the goal being to display simplified numbers, words, or phrases like: 10 are available now, in stock, out of stock, call for availability, qty available in the next 30 days etc. Alternatively the native set of numbers from the ERP s Inventory Warehouse records can be displayed. Notes per line item can be added by hand or prompted for automatically so your sales team does not forget to ask. For example Choose a color for this item: red, blue, green or What text would you like embroidered on this item? The Configurator options will ensure that you remember to add items relevant to this order. Use the Configurator to up-sell, cross sell, correctly configure complex products, or help with mathematical complexities when ordering products with a variety of inter-related components. Once a configurable item is added, a series of rules based configuration questions can be asked. Each answer corresponds to engineered sub components being added to the order, calculated quantities and sub component recommendations. The engineering rules support simple math functions as well as a complete Windows scripting calculation engine so you can perform literally any kind of calculation or 3 rd party web service call. All the current runtime variables and database tables for this configuration are also available to your calculation routine. Administration of the Configurator is streamlined in order to be easy to maintain and manage. During the quote or Order Conversion process, the sales team can select shipping options using real-time freight rate lookups. Setup your company s accounts and Page 3 of 7

rates for FedEx, UPS, USPS, Canadian Post, DHL, Australian Post, British Mail, and your own custom rates (over 50 more international providers available). The shipping method is mapped back to your ERP sales order correctly, thus allowing you to ship products using your regular internal shipping systems, terminals, and label printers. The shipping quote at Order Entry is a quote. Actual shipping charges by your company at time of shipping may differ. You control how you either charge or do not charge the customer the difference. Total FTL and LTL freight estimates by order weight, volume consumption of a container/truck, and address zone can be performed. Tax support for US tax, Canadian GST, and VAT solutions are available so you can automatically apply taxes to your customer s orders. Affordable Geo-Coded tax options are available from 3 rd party tax providers upon request. Google address searching and validation is provided in the onscreen address fields for easy address entry. Search for a company name or street name and automatically see all the Google matching map entries. Clean addresses are entered accurately and quickly the first time. Commercient integrates to the built-in Salesforce Opportunity quote object and records the products, prices, taxes, and miscellaneous charges. Salesforce opportunity and product sales pipeline reports and dashboards have the full set of data in order to run correctly and accurately. Generation of emails to the customer are performed using the Salesforce Quote PDF and are tracked in the CRM. At time of converting a Quote to an Order (winning the business), you can finish the order either on credit terms, with any credit card, with PayPal, with a check, or with cash. Credit cards are validated in real-time and fraud checking options are available if required. Credit Card orders flow through to the ERP as regular Sales Orders. The credit card payment can be tracked in the ERP s cash book and applied automatically to the Invoice when generated. Commercient provides level 3 credit card data to the credit card companies, thus providing you with larger discounts on your points. Credit card data is never stored in Commercient or the ERP thus allowing you to comply with PCI compliance standards. A quote that is converted to a winning quote is automatically identified in Salesforce s Opportunity as the Synced quote. The Opportunity is automatically converted to a Won opportunity. The ERP Sales Order number is stored against the Opportunity. An additional extension App is available named Commercient s ERP Opportunity Commissionable Invoices for Salesforce. The extension app will sync the Invoices that are generated by the Sales Order, sum them up, and store the Sales Order, Invoice(s) and Payment records against the Opportunity, for the purpose of handing over the data to commissions and remuneration packages available on the App Exchange.
