1. Introduction Your one-stop shop for construction, engineering and mining services solutions Ahrens is a national full-service construction, engineering and mining services company, delivering a complete range of project services and cost-effective solutions to our clients. Our broad capabilities and experience mean we are a one-stop shop that can deliver your complete project from design, steel fabrication and procurement through to construction and project delivery; or any individual element you require. We work with all our clients to deliver customised, value-for-money solutions to their specific project needs. With numerous offices and warehouses strategically located across Australia, we have the expertise to successfully deliver projects in any location from complex inner-city footprints to remote outback regions. Our significant pool of in-house labour, trades, plant and equipment enable us to mobilise at short notice and meet the tightest deadlines. In addition to our construction, engineering and mining services expertise, we also manufacture and deliver a complete range of agricultural products and infrastructure for the Australian rural markets through our specialised Ahrens Agri division. Also part of the Ahrens Group, Pioneer Water Tanks manufactures and installs around 4000 modular steel water tanks every year, Australia-wide and in over 30 countries around the world. Ahrens Group provides the following solutions: Design and Construction Mining Services and Infrastructure Steel and Engineering Solutions Agri Water Storage Commercial and Industrial buildings, Materials Handling and Mining Infrastructure. Maintenance and Shutdowns, Fabrication and Machining, Structural and Mechanical Projects, Infrastructure, Materials Handling and Marine. Custom Engineered Buildings (CEB), Structural & Mechanical Steel, Design and Construction (D&C) and Mining Infrastructure, Machining, Conveyors. Grain and Bulk Products Storage, Grain Handling, Custom Projects and Sheds. Water Tank solutions for all types of farming, domestic and agricultural applications. Page 3 of 13
2. Accountabilities Ahrens Group The Group General Manager People & Systems is accountable for the development and implementation of the Integrated Management System and the requirements to maintain legal compliance and quality systems certifications. The Group Management Team will review the Integrated Management System as and when appropriate, but at least every 12 months, and make any updates to ensure it remains current. The Group Management Team will provide support, resources and training where necessary to enable the Group Divisions and Operations to implement the requirements of the Ahrens Group Integrated Management System. Divisions and Operations Each Division and Operation within the Ahrens Group will implement the necessary tools, systems, processes and procedures to comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System. Divisions will be audited to evaluate their compliance with the Ahrens Group Integrated Management System. Page 4 of 13
3. Plan 3.1. Policy Ahrens Group will define and communicate HSEQ policies appropriate to its activities and reference the relevant requirements of AS4801, ISO14001 and ISO9001. The policies should include commitments to continual improvement, the prevention of injury and illness, as well as a commitment to prevent environmental harm. The policies are to be communicated throughout the Group and regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain relevant and up to date. Ahrens Group will have the following policies (at a minimum): Work, Health and Safety Policy Injury Management, Rehabilitation and Workers Compensation Policy Fitness for Work Policy Environment Policy Quality Policy 3.2. Strategic Planning Ahrens Group will establish, document and implement HSEQ objectives and targets that support the Group policies. They will be measurable and include actions to address key HSEQ risks. Performance against these objectives and targets will be evaluated for effectiveness and also address compliance with applicable legal requirements, Ahrens Group policies and standards, and Continual Improvement. 3.3. Management Governance Ahrens Group will ensure the availability of resources (both management resources and HSEQ resources) to establish, implement, maintain and improve the Integrated Management System. Management will have collective and individual HSEQ Roles & Responsibilities and will review performance against the Integrated Management System and control mechanisms at planned intervals. 3.4. Management Systems and Standards Ahrens Group maintains an Integrated Management System which is integrated and certified to the following International and Australian Management Systems Standards: AS/NZS 4801:2001 OHS Management Systems ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Ahrens Group also ensures compliance to other standards and industry certification schemes, including: Return to Work SA Performance Standards for Self-Insured Employers Achilles FPS Community Certification National Structural Steel Compliance Scheme The common principles and approach of these Standards have been used as the basis of both the overall management system and the individual system procedures within it as follows: PLAN DO CHECK ACT Establish and plan the objectives and process necessary to deliver results in accordance with client requirements and company policies (i.e. develop and maintain policies and system procedures, prepare project management plans and delegate responsibilities) Implement the process (i.e. use system procedures & project management plans to ensure our methods are consistent) Monitor and measure processes and products against requirements and report results (i.e. audit, inspect and review implementation and compliance) Take actions to continually improve process performance (i.e. take corrective and preventative actions, review suitability, relevance and effectiveness and take actions to continually improve performance) Page 6 of 13

HSEQ Management Manual (This Document) Describes how the management system is structured; Sets out our group and divisional roles and responsibilities; Summarises the application of the associated documented group standards and associated procedures. 3.4.2. Group Standards and Associated Procedures Group standards set out the objectives and expectations for the Ahrens Group, including responsibilities of key personnel. 3.4.3. Project Management Plans HSEQ Management Plans are established for each project or site and set out specific operational risk management procedures and work methods. The objectives of each Management Plan are: To establish the framework for effective planning, management and coordination of project or site activities and roles; To ensure a planned and systematic approach by all involved; To provide a basis for monitoring and progressively verifying the compliance of the works and the effectiveness of our methods; and To provide clear evidence and thereby a high degree of confidence that the completed project or product satisfies both the clients and our requirements. 4. Implement 4.1. Risk Assessment Ahrens Group will establish, implement and maintain procedures for ongoing HSEQ risk identification for activities which have the potential to have an adverse impact on the health & safety of our staff, on the environment, or contractors, visitors or the wider community. Each risk will be assessed to determine the likelihood and consequence of an adverse outcome with all reasonably practical measures taken to eliminate or mitigate the risk. Control measures will be in place for key risks including provision for emergency situations as part of the wider Business Continuity Planning within the organisation. Major Risk Standards have been developed for all high risk or frequently performed Safety and Environment related activities across the Ahrens Group. They detail the acceptable control measures to be applied by all Ahrens operations including contract personnel. 4.2. Competency and Development Ahrens Group will establish and implement training programmes and maintain procedures to ensure persons working under its control are competent to manage HSEQ risks, and are aware of the consequences of their behaviours and work activities. Ahrens Group will identify competency needs associated with the Integrated Management System including legal requirements and will provide training or other methods to meet these needs. 4.3. Contractor and Supplier Responsibilities Ahrens Group will ensure that all contractors and suppliers understand their HSEQ responsibilities while providing their goods and/or services on Ahrens Group sites. 4.4. Change Management Ahrens Group will ensure that change management is systematically addressed to ensure that changes created or introduced by internal or external factors are identified, evaluated and mitigated. This includes major organisational changes, major process or policy change, or other major changes which have the potential to detrimentally impact on HSEQ. Page 11 of 13
5. Review 5.1. Operations Review Ahrens Group will establish, implement and maintain procedures to monitor and measure HSEQ performance on a regular basis to monitor both proactive and reactive measures of performance against HSEQ programs, targets and objectives. 5.2. Management Review Ahrens Group will establish, implement and maintain procedures for periodically evaluating compliance and performance against strategic objectives, HSEQ certification and legal requirements including an evaluation of compliance with other applicable standards. 6. Improve 6.1. Incident Response Ahrens Group will ensure that all HSEQ incidents and non-conformances are recorded. Serious incidents will be investigated to allow underlying causes to be identified, remedied, and communicated where required. 6.2. Performance Management Ahrens Group will review the performance of teams and individuals against stated HSEQ key performance indicators and Roles & Responsibilities. This should include the application of both reward and consequence management in relation to HSEQ performance outcomes. 6.3. Continuous Improvement Ahrens Group will strive to continuously improve the performance of its Integrated Management System and operations against HSEQ lead and lag indicators, customer/client requirements and satisfaction, and any other relevant benchmarking which the Group Management deems appropriate.
