ReviewSnap Quick Training Reference System Layout and Navigation The Reviewsnap system is easy to navigate and its features and functions are straightforward and intuitive. The user s desktop layout and access to system features and functions will vary depending on which roles have been assigned to each user (see Quick Training Reference on User Roles). Once logged into the Reviewsnap system the landing page will display anywhere from 1 3 folder tabs depending on the roles assigned to the user. Within each tab is a menu bar listing the functions that are available. The screen shots that follow display the basic layout and functions associated with each of the four user roles. Employee Role Those users whose system privileges include only the Employee role functions will have just one visible tab on their system landing page titled Review Process and within this tab is a menu bar with links to Manage Reviews, Manage esignatures and Create Journal Entries. All performance management actions associated with creating or completing self-reviews, viewing completed reviews, managing goals, and creating/viewing journal entries are accessible by clicking on the Manage Reviews link on the menu bar. All electronic approval actions required by the employee are accessible by clicking on the Manage esignatures link on the menu bar. The employee s performance journal can be accessed either by selecting the Create Journal Entries link on the menu bar, or by selecting the Create/View Journal Entries link from within the Manage Reviews section. To access all of the performance management functions, click on the Manage Reviews link on the menu bar. The Manage Reviews page (screen shot below) displays an employee drop down menu for selecting employees and immediately underneath is a two column table displaying Employee Information on the left hand side and a list of available Actions for the selected employee on the right hand side. Those users whose account privileges are limited to the Employee role can only access their own information and the actions associated with their own performance (no other employee names will appear in the drop down menu). As reflected in the screen shot below, the employee information includes employee name, email address, manager(s), home department, job title with link to job description if uploaded into the system, R number and hire date. The performance management actions associated with the employee are listed in the Actions column. These actions include Create or Complete a Review, View Completed Reviews, Manage Goals, and Create/View Journal Entries. There are no update functions available within the Update Employee Information link.
To access the electronic signatures page, click on the Manage esignatures link on the menu bar. The Manage esignatures page (screen shot below) will display a list of any performance reviews that require the employee s electronic signature. Within the Employee role, electronic approval actions are limited to signing off on the employee s own performance review at the end of the process when prompted by the system. To access the employee s Performance Journal, click on the Create Journal Entries link on the menu bar. The Create Journal Entries page (screen shot below) will display the employees whose performance journals are
accessible by the user. Those users whose system privileges include only the Employee role will only see their own record appear on this page, and thus are only able to access their own performance journal. To access the performance journal the user will click on the Select link listed under Actions. As previously noted, the performance journal can also be accessed from the Manage Reviews page as well.
