Setting up Exchange Email Connection This document is to be used as a guide to setting up an Exchange Email connection with Outlook; 1. Microsoft Outlook Client 2. Exchange Server If you have any questions after following these steps, please contact BIZ-LYNX Technology. Steps 1. Log onto the desktop computer and open Control Panel 2. 3. Double left click on Mail icon 4. Click Show Profiles 5. Select the profile from the list and click Remove (may have a different name) BIZ-LYNX Technology 2007. Commercial in Confidence Page 3 of 8
6. Select Yes 7. Select Add to create a new profile for storing your email settings 8. Type a name for the profile. Can be anything as is just a name for the profile. Select OK once done 9. 10. Select Microsoft Exchange Server and Next 11. Enter the Exchange server address and email address 12. Select Check Name that converts these details into complete names when found. 15. Now open Outlook and your email account has been created. It may take a moment to update your settings. Send yourself a test email to ensure all is working. Send an email out to an external email address to ensure this is OK. BIZ-LYNX Technology 2007. Commercial in Confidence Page 7 of 8
