Award criteria KA1 Higher Education ECHE >>no qualitative assessment and no award criteria. Any eligible grant application (after having passed the eligibility check) will get funding. Grant amount will depend on a number of elements: the number of mobility periods and months/days applied for; the past performance of the applicant in terms of number of mobility periods, good quality in the implementation of activities and sound financial management, in case the applicant has received a similar grant in previous years; the total national budget allocated for the mobility Action

School staff Duration: 2 days - 2 months (excl travel) Conditions: Application by institution 1 or 2 year project European development plan by 17 March 2014 (noon, Brussels time) activities as from 1/06/2014

European Development Plan for the sending organisations, aimed at modernising and internationalising their mission responds to clearly identified staff development needs; is accompanied by appropriate selection, preparation and follow-up measures; ensures that the learning outcomes of participating staff are properly recognised; ensures that the learning outcomes are disseminated and widely used within the organisation. Also applicable for KA1 applications in Grundtvig

KA1 AWARD CRITERIA (1) Min 60 out of 100 and min 50% for each criterion Relevance of the project (30 points) The relevance of the proposal to: - the objectives and priorities of the Action (see section "What are the aims of a mobility project") - the needs and objectives of the participating organisations and of the individual participants The extent to which the proposal : - produces high-quality learning outcomes for participants - reinforces the capacity of realising synergies between different fields of education -is innovative and brings added value at EU level

KA1 AWARD CRITERIA (2) Quality of the project design and implementation (40 points) The clarity, completeness and quality of all the phases of the project proposal (preparation, implementation of mobility activities and follow-up) The consistency between project objectives and proposed activities The quality of the European Development Plan of the applicant organisation The appropriateness of measures for selecting and/or involving participants in the mobility activities The quality of the practical arrangements, management and support modalities The quality of the preparation provided to participants The quality of arrangements for the recognition and validation of participants' learning outcomes, as well as the consistent use of European transparency and recognition tools

VET Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships Main activities: Exchanging good practices and innovation in VET provisions, guidance, counselling Developing and delivering of new VET teaching/training materials and methods To foster structured and long term cooperation among VET institutions with stakeholders (private enterprises, social partners, local/regional authorities, NGOs) Cross-sector cooperation to build bridges and share knowledge between different formal and informal E&T and youth sectors

VET KA2: Strategic Partnerships Eligible mobility activities Blended mobility: short-term mobility (5 days-2 months) + virtual mobility Long-term teaching or training assignments (2-12 months) Short-term joint staff training (5 days- 2 months): study visits, workshops, training for small groups from different countries!! Mobility activities must contribute to the partnership s objectives!!no learners mobilities nor long-term teaching staff mobility to and from Partner countries.

VET Key Action 2 Sector Skills Alliances Aim: To enhance the responsiveness of VET systems to sector-specific labour market needs, contributing to increased economic competitiveness of the concerned sector Main activities: Designing and delivering curricula responding to the needs of labour market and of the learners in economic sectors Projects promoting work based learning Projects facilitating recognition of qualifications at EU level
