In July of 1972 the College moved into a single campus on Mahan Drive. Thames Valley State Technical College opened in 1963 with a single campus in Norwich. On May 5, 1992, the Connecticut General Assembly enacted Public Act 92-126 merging the community and technical colleges. Three Rivers Community College is one of those merged institutions. vi
