SPECIFICATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLERS OF SECURITY SYSTEM EQUIPMENT AGAINST FIRE AND/OR THEFT 1. Foreword These specifications prepared by the Comité Européen des Assurances (CEA) in the framework of the traditional loss prevention work by European insurers and in line with the EC Commission's group exemption regulation (regulation No. 3932/92 dated 21 December 1992) are aimed at providing the conditions for a Europe-wide uniform high level of personal and property protection. CEA Member Associations have agreed to adopt these specifications and to withdraw any contradicting specification of their own.
