Cotutelle de Thèse A French-German Model Bi-national, individual research-based doctoral program Embedded in governmental legal framework (F/G) Co-supervised by two supervisors from two countries Based on a Cotutelle Agreement between two universities and an individual supervision agreement. In general, two national doctoral degrees are awarded, valid as one degree in the respective countries. The two doctorate certificates issued mention the bi-national character of the doctoral education. 5
