AND ECONOMICALLY-DISADVANTAGED POPULTIONS YOUTH 16 TO 24 YEARS OLD DROPOUT Kansas RECOVERY City & Vicinity PROGRAMS RECOVER DROP OUT YOUTH AND GUIDE THEM TO HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION AFTER GRADUATION YOUTH ARE ASSISTED IN SECURING FINANCIAL AID TO ATTEND COMMUNITY COLLEGES, FOUR-YEAR INSTITUTIONS, APPRENTICEHIP PROGRAMS; OR ENROLL IN THE MILITARY 21 ST CENTURY PROGRAM: YOUTH WHO PARTICPATE IN THIS PROGRAM ARE PLACED IN SUMMER INTERNSHIPS TO PROVIDE THEM THE WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE TO MOTIVATE THE PURSUIT OF POST-SECONDARY CREDENTIALS.

ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED, AS WELL AS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TRY-OUT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS, OUT-OF-SCHOOL PROVIDES INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT COULD LEAD TO EMPLOYMENT CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND COURSE WORK

YOUTH 16 TO 24 YEARS OLD WORKFORCE 21 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TRAINING FOCUS IS ON HIGH-GROWTH/HIGH-PAY FIELDS, SUCH AS MANUFACTURING, HEALTHCARE, BIOSCIENCES TUITION ASSISTANCE AT COMMUNITY COLLEGES, ACCELERATED PROGRAMS AT FOUR-YEAR INSTITUTIONS OR CUSTOMIZED TRAINING COURSES WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS SUBSIDIZED EMPLOYMENT WITH THE SOLE OBJECTIVE OF PROVIDING YOUTH WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING; GAINING A REFERENCE; AND EXPLORING ALTERNATIVE CAREER OPTIONS

ADULTS MISSOURI WORK ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS JOB TRAINING AND PLACEMENT TO THE TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILY (TANF) POPULATION PROVIDES JOB SKILLS AND TRANSFERABLE CREDENTIAL TO THOSE THAT RECEIVE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PROGRAM HANDS-ON TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE WHILE EARNING A WAGE CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND COURSE WORK CLASSROOM TRAINING/CREDENTIAL PROGRAMS FOCUS: IN-DEMAND DRIVEN OCCUPATIONS TUITION ASSISTANCE THAT LEADS TO A TRANSFERABLE CREDENTIAL, RECOGNIZED BY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

ADULTS LOW-WORKER INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING TRAINING TARGETED TO LOW-INCOME WORKERS THAT LEADS TO NEW CAREER CERTIFICATION, AND LIKELY WAGE GAIN THE PROMOTION OF LIFE LONG LEARNING ACCOUNTS (LILAS) THAT SUPPORT INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING THROUGH 401(K)-LIKE WORKPLACE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS THAT RE SOLELY FOR TRINAING FOR THE WORKERS AT THE WORKPLACE JUST-IN-TIME TRAINING CUSTOMIZED TRAINING FOR AN EMPLOYER OR JOB SEEKER DESIGNED TO MEET AN IMMEDIATE NEED OF AN EMPLOYER DUE TO SPECIFIC WORKFORCE TALENT NEEDS DUE TO EXPANSION AND/OR TECHNOLOGY CHANGES DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF JOB SEEKERS DUE TO THE REQUIREMENTS/DEMAND OF INDUSTRIES OR PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

ADULTS FLEX LOCATION TRAINING CREDENTIALED, STATE RECOGNIZED TRAINING THAT CAN OCCUR AT SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS OR THROUGH TECHNOLOGY-BASED LEARNING TO MEET THE NEEDS OF LOW-INCOME POPULATIONS THAT ARE UNEMPLOYED NEED INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING MAY LEAD TO A WAGE GAIN AND/OR JOB UPGRADE SKILLS TRAINING COMBOS (COMBINATIONS) CLASSROOM SKILLS TRAINING, BASIC EDUCATION AND/OR WORKPLACE TRAINING, OCCURRING CONCURRENTLY SECTOR-BASED TRAINING SPECIALTY-TRAINING FOCUSED ON HIGH-GROWTH AREAS, LIKE HEALTHCARE OR MANUFACTURING, THAT HAVE REGION-WIDE SIGNIFIGANCE, AND PROVIDES DIVERSE OPTIONS FOR JOBSEEKERS/TRAINEES

TRANSPORTATION SUPPORTIVE SERVICES IN AN EFFORT TO SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF THE LOW-INCOME POPULATION, TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE MAY BE AVAILABLE TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE TO THE WORKSITE MAY BE AVAILABLE IN VARIED FORMS, SUCH AS PAY VOUCHERS TAXI SERVICE GAS CARDS

ADDITIONAL SERVICES FIRST SOURCE PROGRAM 30-DAY JOB ASSISTANCE PRIORITY TO KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS INVOLVED IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SECTION 3, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) ASSISTS WITH JOB PLACEMENT AND RECRUITMENT FOR COMPANIES RECEIVING SECTION 3 FUNDING CERTIFIES ELIGIBILE APPLICANTS AND ENROLLS THEM IN THE SECTION 3 PROGRAM
