Management Summary IDAMS IDAMS is a benchmark of Asset Management as a management discipline, and places measures on the key areas needed to perform Value-based Asset Management. The benchmark shows to which degree the fundamental decision making elements are in place, and how well-functioning they are. The framework of the program is linked to International Standards ISO 55000 and PAS 55. Tailored to larger West European Distribution Companies (power and gas). UMS is scheduling a new cycle for IDAMS in 2015/2016, as a follow-up on the very successful cycle of 2012/2013. Start data collection in Q4-2015; Final report will be delivered in Q2 2016. Value-based Asset Management enhances your decision making and could result in up to a 20% savings on OPEX/CAPEX, provided you adhere to a clearly defined risk profile. IDAMS will show you how value-based asset management is implemented in comparable regions, helping you to set the management agenda and keep your stakeholders aligned. Set your management agenda on hard data: where is room for improvement and where you are best practice. More inspiration & less risks by sharing best practices with your peers, based on a common framework and guided by an independent expert.
