WHAT S NEW - MONITORING COMMMODITIES DATA AND NEWS New OPEC pre-built display for quick access to OPEC prices, data and news Take advantage of new Thomson Reuters Eikon pre-built display which allows rapid access to key data provided by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). OPEC data is crucial to Oil market participants and this new screen puts it at the centre of your workflow. The new model allows you to see the following, published by OPEC, all from one easily navigable screen: Prices Production Quotas The screen also allows you to monitor all news stories related to OPEC, allowing you to react quickly to breaking news. Navigation links have been added to the Market Data & Tools pages of the Commodities Guide. 2
New single screen for Commodity Options monitoring and analysis Viewing critical Commodity options content is now easier with the introduction of a single-destination screen for quicker monitoring and analysis. It s been designed as a one-stop-shop for the content you need, saving you valuable time when finding data. You can use the screen s tabs to perform a variety of functions from your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop e.g. to monitor WTI Crude Oil Options or CME Wheat Options. You can also use the tabs to perform the following: On the Monitor List tab Browse a list of commodities options of futures sorted by exchange and sorted by your choice of sub-asset classes Monitor all options for one or more tenors of one contract View associated volatility surfaces for a selected contract Easily navigate towards 3D volatility charts tool Create and save a list of specific individual options for closer tracking On the Analyze Single tab Analyze single options individually (volatility, greeks) alongside what-if-scenario scenarios Compare underlying contract vs. ATM volatility indices volatilities (30,60,90 Days) for each option On the My List tab Create and save a list with your favourite contracts for quick switching Navigation links have been added to the Market Data & Tools pages of the Commodities Guide. 3
Try the new Oil Swaps Overview pre-built display Be first to test a beta version of the upcoming Oil Swaps Overview pre-built display on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop and tell us what you think of its features. The new screen is designed to make finding key prices for Oil swaps easier. At present, the beta only carries content from Asia. The full version will feature a range of enhanced global content. At this stage we would very much like to hear your feedback on the model's content and features, via the community page in the model itself. WHAT S NEW - PRICING AND VALUATION FOR COMMODITIES INSTRUMENTS New Dark and Spark Spread Analysis Try the new Dark and Spark Spread Analysis pre-built model on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop. Designed to allow easier valuation analysis to power your decisions, it allows you to quickly visualize calculated price series for spreads from your selected Thomson Reuters instrument inputs for Power, Natural Gas, Coal and Carbon. The model allows you to: Select countries and tenors from the tree view on the left Adjust currency, units and efficiency factors See historical and real-time prices View and analyze the results in both table and chart format Navigation links have been added to the Market Data & Tools pages of the Commodities Guide. 5
WHAT S NEW REUTERS INSIDER Seamless sign-on into Reuters Insider standalone Seamless sign-on to Reuters Insider when using the top navigation link from Thomson Reuters Eikon Home Page. If you already have a Reuters Insider account, your Thomson Reuters Eikon account is bound to your Reuters Insider account by your email address, keeping existing Reuters Insider favorites, alerts etc. If you do not already have a Reuters Insider account, a brand new Reuters Insider account is created. WHAT S NEW WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES Quick view of Read / Unread commentaries in your Inbox Commentary title and author displayed in bold font along with blue background for unread commentaries Click in the My Eikon drop down menu available from Thomson Reuters Eikon Home Page and select My Inbox. 6
New Copy Commentary Link for quick reference within other commentaries or messaging conversations When viewing a Commentary page, you can click on the Copy commentary link to share the link with other users (Note you may need to have permission to view the original commentary to see it from the link) You can paste link into other Commentaries or into Messenger conversations. How to Access? Access this from a Commentary full page. Differentiate same string values in topics field when manually selecting topics You can now see the category of the topic to ensure that you are selecting the correct topic for the commentary when adding them manually. Categories appear in both the add dialog screen and the select menu. 7
