Day 29 SCRIPTURE: TO YOU, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, IN YOU I trust, do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none of those who wait FOR YOU will be ashamed; those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (Psalm 25:1-3). For My people have committed two evils; They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water (Jeremiah 2:13). PRAYER: O gracious Father, thank You that You desire for us to turn to You in our time of trouble. Thank You that You love to bring amazing things out of our great mess-ups. You have made a way for us to move forward after failure and that way is in You. Remind us Lord to not deny or hide our sin from ourselves or from You, keep us from pride and help each one of us and our family to hand over all things to You. Even now God we give You our mistakes, our failures, heartbreaks, disappointments. We give You our yoke because it s heavy and burdensome and we exchange it for Yours because it s light and easy in the Name of Jesus we pray, amen. PRAY: Take a few minutes and confess any sin to the Lord. Get in the habit of doing this all through out the day, keeping short accounts with the Lord. PRAY: Receive His forgiveness, mercy and grace move forward in freedom. PRAY: Ask the Lord to show you someone you can have as a prayer partner, accountability partner or mentor. Sit quietly now and ask Him to give you some names and then prayerfully ask that person. ACTION POINT: Contact someone close to you (same sex) whom you trust and ask them if they are interested in being your prayer/accountability partner. Day 30 SCRIPTURE: Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your loving kindnesses, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your loving kindness remember me, for Your goodness sake, O Lord (Psalm 25:6,7). For Your name s sake, O Lord, PARDON MY INIQUITY, for it is great (Psalm 25:11). When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord ; and You forgave the guilt of my sin (Psalm 32:3-5).
PRAYER: Loving and forgiving Father, we praise You that Your arms are wide open to us, no matter what we have done or what has been done to us. We run straight to You and ask for Your forgiveness for our sins, we need You Lord to wash us white as snow, so we come to You with all our junk and confess our sins to You, for You are the only one who takes away the sins of the world. You O Lord are compassionated, kind, slow to anger and abounding in love and Your mercies are new every morning. PRAY: Pray for yourself and others you may know who are stuck in sin and refuse to confess it or keep going back to the same situation/act. PRAY: Pray for yourself/others whom beat themselves up over their sin even after they have confessed it to the Lord. Pray they will understand that our Father in Heaven forgives as far as the East is from the West, He remembers it no more once we ask for forgiveness. ACTION POINT: God can make a miracle out of our mess when we go to the Lord and give it all to Him. Think back of a time when you made a big mistake, went to God, asked for forgiveness and trusted Him with the next steps.what happened? How did it turn out? Share with your testimony with others. Day 31 SCRIPTURE: Make me know YOUR WAYS, O Lord; Teach me YOUR PATHS. Lead me in YOUR TRUTH and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; FOR YOU I wait all the day (Psalm 25:4,5). Good and upright is the Lord; therefore HE INSTRUCTS SINNERS IN THE WAY. He leads THE HUMBLE in justice, and He teaches THE HUMBLE His way (Psalm 25:8,9). The Lord says, I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control (Psalm 32:8,9). PRAYER: O wise God, Counselor, Good Shepherd, we praise You for Your wisdom and direction. You O Lord lead us into Your truth, help us to be teachable and give us the patience to wait upon You and follow You where You lead us. We confess it s not always easy and sometimes it s hard to trust You and where You are leading us, give us a receptive heart and bring to our remembrance Your faithfulness and wisdom. Humble us O Lord and lead us on a straight path in the Name of Jesus we pray, amen. PRAY: Pray for yourself and others to have an open heart to the Lord and to trust and obey Him as He leads You. PRAY: Ask the Lord to give you patience, endurance and peace in where He is leading You.
ACTION POINT: Share with another person or family member an area of your life that You are having difficulty trusting God with. Maybe you are good at giving Him situations but then quickly take it back and try to control or manipulate the situation. Day 32 SCRIPTURE: Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. THE SECRET OF THE LORD IS FOR THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, and He will make them know His covenant. My eyes are continually toward the Lord, for He will pluck my feet out of the net (Psalm 25:12-15) For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). PRAYER: We worship You God, You are holy, righteous, true and everlasting. We praise You as the uncreated God who was and is and is to come. We join with the heavenly hosts and with all of creation and declare Your glory. We stand in awe of You Lord for You are majestic and glorious. We praise You that You are all places at all times, who is like You O Lord? No one, You and You alone are our God and we set our gaze on You, we bring You honor and praise, we choose to follow You and we commit our future, our desires, family, needs all to You. You know what s best for each of us and You want the best for us, help us Lord to not get in the way of Your plans and Your will. PRAY: Thy will be done in my life (my family, at my work, in my friends, church, my health ) as it is in heaven. ACTION POINT: Pay attention to your thinking today. At the end of the day take a moment to ponder what you were thinking about, how to you respond to situations and people. Did it seem like you were in step with the Spirit (led by Him, yielded to Him)? Turn your day into an ongoing conversation with God, asking Him questions, listening to His voice, promptings and convictions. Taking captive every thought and bringing it into alignment with Christ and walking by the power of the Holy Spirit throughout the day will make big things like, Committing Your Future into the hands of God easier. Day 33 SCRIPTURE: Turn to me and be gracious to me for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. Look upon my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. Look upon my enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with violent hatred. Guard my soul and deliver me; do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You (Psalm 25:16-20). PRAYER: Gracious Father, You see my affliction and loneliness. You see the mountain of mess that is building up inside of my heart and in my life. I confess fear, worry, anxiety within my soul and I ask for forgiveness. Replace these emotions with Your peace, rest and assurance that You are my Strong Tower, the Victorious Warrior, my Father Whom I can trust. My Defender and Shield, the Rock and Sure
Defense. I praise You that You are for me and not against me. Come O God and guard my soul and deliver me, for I take refuge in You, my hope and my salvation. PRAY: Ask God to take care of your troubles. ACTION POINT: Write out all your troubles, worrisome thoughts and situations. Then pray through each one, asking God to take care of them, give you people in your life to help you, show you if you re supposed to rest or take action in any of those areas. He will confide in you, He will guide you and direct your ways when you come to Him. Day 34 SCRIPTURE: Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. (Psalm 25:21,22). PRAYER: Lord of All, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We praise You for all the people in the Bible God who were living testimonies of lives that were either messed up, made some poor choices, had bad things happen to them and we see all throughout the word Your wisdom, Your hand, Your direction, loving kindness, faithfulness, power and so much more. Thank You for people like David whom we can learn from. It s amazing Lord to think of his life and how he had a moral failure, faith blow out and pride blow out and yet he always ran to You for help and he was called, A man after God s own heart. Lord, help our lives to be real and keep us from living a lie. Let integrity and uprightness preserve us. Help what we say match what we do, help us to move forward with integrity. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen. PRAY: Pray for all the families that you know who have gone through a divorce. Pray for healing, restoration in their lives and that they would walk closely with the Lord. PRAY: Pray for the marriages you know that are really struggling. Pray for honesty, trust, unity and that they would seek the Lord together for guidance, direction and healing. Pray they would get practical help. PRAY: Pray for all the marriages you know that seem to be going really good. Pray for their protection, unity, love to abound, Christ to be at the center of their marriage. Pray they will continue to do the hard work of good communication, taking time for each other. Day 35 Reflect over the last week of scripture verses and prayers. Take time today as a family, with friends or by yourself to sit quietly before the Lord and ask Him to reveal Himself to you today. Have your Bible wide open in your lap and say, speak Lord, for your servant is listening and then wait upon Him. Write out or pray through what it is you sense Him telling you. Maybe a specific scripture verse will
keep coming to your mind or a situation or person maybe God will show you a picture or give you a worship song. Don t put God in the box, He wants to speak to your heart and minister to you.
