Charlyne's Favorite Court Scriptures Please keep these scriptures for yourself or keep them for when you hear of a special friend, coworker or someone at church who is going through a divorce. These scriptures can increase faith and hope in the power of the awesome mighty God you and I serve. God understands your pain, your fears and your rejection. What better place to receive your encouragement than directly from His Word, the Bible. May the following scriptures below help you walk through un-charted territory with faith in the power of the Lord God. Never forget that: God heals hurting and dead marriages. Genesis 50:19-21 -... Don't be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don't be afraid. I will provide for you and your children. And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them." 2 Samuel 22:2-4 - He said: The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior from violent men you save me. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. 1 Kings 8:28, 31-32 - "Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his plea for mercy, O LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day...when a man wrongs his neighbor and is required to take an oath and he comes and swears the oath before your altar in this temple, then hear from heaven and act. Judge between your servants, condemning the guilty and bringing down on his own head what he has done. Declare the innocent not guilty, and so establish his innocence." 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 - "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place." Job 13:18 - "Now that I have prepared my case, I know I will be vindicated." Psalm 3:8 - From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah Psalm 5:10-12 - Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

Psalm 7:1,8-17 - O LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me...let the Lord judge the peoples. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High. O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure. My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day. If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment. He who digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit he has made. The trouble he causes recoils on himself; his violence comes down on his own head. I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. Psalm 9:4, 8-10 - "For you have upheld my right and my cause; you have sat on your throne, judging righteously... He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice. The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 18:2 - The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 20:5 - We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests. Psalm 21:1-2 - O LORD, the king rejoices in your strength. How great is his joy in the victories you give! You have granted him the desire of his heart and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah" Psalm 22:8 - "He trusts in the LORD; let the LORD rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him." Psalm 24:5 - He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. Psalm 27:11-14 - "Teach me your way, O LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence. I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalm 31:14-19 - But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, You are my God. My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and lie silent in the grave. Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.

Psalm 32:7 - You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah" Psalm 34:4 - I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 35:1-2 - Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid. Psalm 37:40 - The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. Psalm 40:17 - Yet I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay. Psalm 43:1-3 - Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; rescue me from deceitful and wicked men. You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy? Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalm 45:4 - In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness; let your right hand display awesome deeds. Psalm 59:1-4 - Deliver me from my enemies, O God; protect me from those who rise up against me. Deliver me from evildoers and save me from bloodthirsty men. See how they lie in wait for me! Fierce men conspire against me for no offense or sin of mine, O LORD. I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Arise to help me; look on my plight! Psalm 60:12 - With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Psalm 70 - Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me. May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. May those who say to me, Aha! Aha! turn back because of their shame. But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, Let God be exalted ' Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay. Psalm 71:1-6 - In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men. For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you. Psalm 72:12 - For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help.

Psalm 79:9 - Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name's sake. Psalm 84:10 - Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalm 100:4 - Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 107:6 - Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. Psalm 109:31 - For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save his life from those who condemn him. Psalm 119:70 - Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law. Psalm 135:14 - For the LORD will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants. Psalm 140:7-8 - O Sovereign LORD, my strong deliverer, who shields my head in the day of battle do not grant the wicked their desires, O LORD; do not let their plans succeed, or they will become proud. Selah Psalm 144:1-2 - Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me. Psalm 144:7-11 - Reach down your hand from on high; deliver me and rescue me from the mighty waters, from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful. I will sing a new song to you, O God; on the ten- stringed lyre I will make music to you, to the One who gives victory to kings, who delivers his servant David from the deadly sword. Deliver me and rescue me from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful. Psalm 145:13-14 - Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. Proverbs 2:8,12 - For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones...wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse. Proverbs 12:19,22 - Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment...the LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.

Proverbs 16:7 - When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him. Proverbs 18:10 - The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent.
