Historical Description As part of the ITI, the Java TM Education and Technology Services (JETS) stands out as a center of excellence dedicated to Java TM and its related technologies. First Intake was in 2007 (Intake 28). Number of graduates (6 Intakes): 92. 2
Track Purpose Mobile Applications Developer track aims to graduate professional world-class Java developers, who are capable of using different Java technologies in diverse application domains The track structure is based mainly on developing applications for mobiles from different categories and with different platforms and operating systems like android, ios and BlackBerry BB10, and how can Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) API s be used to integrate with custom made web applications and Enterprise applications An Intensive soft skills package is also delivered so that graduates can deeply understand how to manage projects and build teams 3
Graduate Profile Graduates will obtain advanced technical skills to do the following: Develop, create, and modify custom mobile applications Analyze and design databases within an application area Develop, create, and modify custom mobile applications that are Database driven Integrate custom mobile application with web application Technical Skills Developing Mobile Application (49%) Interfacing (14%) Interfacing with Web application(19%) Interfacing with Enterprise application(7%) Designing and interfacing with Database(10%) 4
