INDI MG Instituto de Desenvolvimento Integrado de Minas Gerais INDI is the investment promotion agency of Minas Gerais State (1968). INDI acts in the prospection, induction and attraction of investments for sustainable development of Minas Gerais. The INDI provides full assistance without costs to potential investors. Dialogue with other government agencies with regard to environmental issues (SEMAD), tax relief (SEF) and location of investment INDI is part of Minas Gerais system for economic development: science and technology agency Fapemig, local development bank BDMG, state investor CODEMIG, state energy company CEMIG and state-owned drug company FUNED. INDI also cooperates with local business association, such as FIEMG (manufacturing sector) and SEBRAE (small business sector).

INDI MG Instituto de Desenvolvimento Integrado de Minas Gerais Biomm case: production of human insulin. Biomm holds technology for large-scale production of recombinant insulin. Biomm will be able to produce other biosimilars in its new industrial plant. Biopharmaceutical plant under construction (operation scheduled to 2017). Location: Nova Lima, close to Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. The Biomm project relies on the support of several local and federal agencies and institutions: BNDES, BDMG, Fapemig and Finep. Recent case: Unitec Semiconductors had support from INDI, Codemig, Finep, CEMIG and Copasa. Shareholders: Berbill, BNDESPar, IBM, BDMG, MATEC e WS-Intecs. Other cases of partnership: FIAT (cars and trucks), Helibras (helicopters, with Airbus Helicopters), CBMM (niobium minning), Bunge Fertilizantes (phosphate mining), Renova (renewable energy, CEMIG with SunEdison).
