Please refer to 3 Manor pre-shipment testing. 2.2 SGS local contacts for testing Please refer to the Manor supplier portal for country contacts: http://www.manor.ch/en/suppliers.html# 3 Manor pre-shipment testing 3.1 Process flow In order to safeguard the product quality, Manor decided to randomly check products, if possible, prior to the shipment release. This quality control will be done by SGS. SGS will contact you on behalf of Manor and requests to either send a sample for product testing in the laboratories, to pick a sample from current production or to submit sufficient documentation to confirm the product conformity. These tests are paid by Manor. With the signature on the CA, supplier agrees to cooperate with SGS. Local SGS affiliates will contact the supplier and will provide the MANOR Application Form that has to be sent together with a sample or respective documents to SGS. SGS will conduct testing or document review. If the result is positive, supplier will be informed and can release the shipment. If the result is negative, supplier and Manor QM will receive the test report / document review report with the failed result. Buyer at Manor will contact Supplier for further arrangements. If the samples do not fulfill the legal requirements Manor won`t accept delivery.

Flow chart SGS picks samples at Supplier

3.2 Basic product testing Due to the long time experience of the Swiss market and the knowledge of both chemical and safety parameters with high risk potential, SGS and Manor decide which articles will be selected for verification. Supplier has to send samples from the running production / Manor order or SGS will pick samples directly from manufacturing. This does not exclude other modes of quality testing. Test reports will only be sent to Manor unless the result is fail. Re-tests on improved products can be ordered by the supplier. In this case supplier must pay the testing fee. 3.3 Document review SGS may request suppliers to send all product related documents (i.e. test reports, certifications etc.) together with one sellable product (including the packaging). Documents need to be complete and need to fulfill following requirements: - Unambiguous matching of documents to the Manor product - Not older than 3 years - Issued by an accredited lab (EN ISO/IEC 17025) The supplier must ensure that a complete documentation exists. In case of a negative result Manor reserves the right to cancel the order. A pre-check of documents can be ordered by supplier at any time.
