PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS I CKF CONTACT INFORMATION I WAIVERS & DISCLOSURES n WAIVERS & DISCLOSURES CAMBRIA DESERT COLLECTION: Designs Included: Clyde, Cambrian Black, Cherrybrook, Cuddington, Devon, Dover, Fieldstone, Greystone, Hazelford, Oakhampton, Sanford, Sussex, Templeton, Waverton, White Cliff and Yorkshire. AWARENESS & ACCEPTANCE: It is important to know that the structural performance of these designs is the same as any other Cambria product. Since these colors have minimal particulate size and color variation, any change in color or particulate size is much more noticeable. These changes in particulate size and color variations are not imperfections in the material and therefore and not warrantable, replaceable or repairable. Small samples in showroom may not show these variations. Once installed, these designs are more apt to show fingerprints, water streaks and any other foreign substances on the surface of the top. Additional cleaning to eliminate the more visible items may be required. n I have read the foregoing and understand the characteristics of the above Desert Collection designs. As such, I agree not to hold Cambria or CKF responsible in the event that the described characteristics are later found by me to be less desirable than expected. HONED & LEATHERED GRANITE: Because of its unique characteristics, this material is a little different from other granites. The structural performance of this product is the same as most other granites, however, once in your home this collection is more apt to show more fingerprints, water streaks and other foreign substance on the surface of the top. Additional sealing and cleaning to eliminate these more visible items should be expected. It is recommended this material be resealed on a yearly basis. n I have read the foregoing and understand the characteristics of Honed and Leathered granite. As such, I agree not to hold CKF responsible in the event that the described characteristics are later found by me to be less desirable than expected. MARBLE, TRAVERTINE, SLATE & SOAPSTONE: Each of the following materials have unique characteristics that must be taken into consideration for the desired application. Scratching, staining, etching, breakage or uneven color and shading can result due to characteristics of these natural materials. Marble: Marble is a natural stone. There will be variations in veining, color and shading. Marble is porous and can be easily stained. Purchaser must be aware of this especially for kitchen applications. Travertine: Travertine is a type of Limestone (formed by land). It features soft earth tones and can be used as exterior cladding. It is also vulnerable to alteration from exposure to acids. Slate: Slate consists mainly of mica, quartz and other minerals. The rock is weatherproof and long lasting. Soapstone: Soapstone is soft to the touch but non-absorbent. Softer grades may feel soapy when touched. Alkalis, acids and heat won t affect it as they will granite or marble. Stains and discolors will just be on the surface, and can be sanded off. If you want the stone to be a darker color you can wax once a week for the first 6 months or you can choose to leave the stone its natural color. n I have read the foregoing and understand the characteristics of Marble, Travertine, Slate and Soapstone. As such, I agree not to hold CKF responsible in the event that the described characteristics are later found by me to be less desirable than expected. COUNTERTOPS BUILT OFF DIMENSION WAIVER: You have requested CKF to build you a countertop based off the dimensions you provide. CKF will provide you with a CAD drawing showing the exact dimension and related information. To avoid misinterpretation this CAD drawing must be approved by you prior to moving forward with fabrication. CKF Does not install or deliver product built off dimension; it is strictly a cash and carry transaction. n I have read the foregoing and understand that any modifying, re-fabricating or service for this countertop is not included in this transaction.

n EXPECTATION & PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF GRANITE COLOR: Granite is an entirely natural material directly quarried from around the world. Variations in veining, color and shading do occur. Samples provided during your selection process may vary from actual stone installed in your home. Preselection of your slabs is suggested for active granite patterns. SEAMS: Seams will be visible and can vary from 1/16 to 1/8. Seams can also be slightly uneven due to the inherent characteristics of the stone. Color variance at seams can also occur due to the uniqueness of each granite slab. SEAM PLACEMENT: Final location of seams will be made by the Professionals at CKF based on design integrity, slab size and safety considerations. We will work to accommodate customer requests but cannot guarantee that the requests can be met in all situations. PITTING & FISSURES (CRACKS): Because granite is a natural product mined directly from the earth, pitting and fissures are common in your granite and are not considered defects or warrantable issues. SHEEN: Granite, when fabricated and polished, can vary in sheen. Granite is polished at the quarry and then again during fabrication; the different movement in stone and natural minerals contained in stone vary and can affect the consistency of the sheen level in each slab. REPLACEMENT: If replacement of the product is determined, CKF s obligation under warranty is to remove and replace the defective area of the natural granite product. Due to the inherent and unique characteristics of each granite slab there can be no guarantee that the replacement product will match in color, veining or in pattern. Additional seams may be required when replacing defective material. This limited warranty does not cover the replacement of any other granite material other than the defective area. Therefore, no additional areas of the kitchen, bath or other components of the project will be replaced due to color, veining or pattern differences. n EXPECTATION & PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF CAMBRIA Maintaining Cambria is easy. Simply wash with a soft cotton cloth and warm water, use a mild soap if desired. DO NOT expose Cambria to abrasive or strong alkaline or acid or free radicals or oxidizers or the like (whether high, neutral or low ph) cleaners. Various chemicals are corrosive and/or erosive in their ability to attack any structure including Cambria. Be very aware of these potential damages to your surface. Cambria is 93% quartz. Variation in the natural stone (quartz) color, pattern, size, shape and shade are inherent and unique characteristics to be expected with this product. Variations do not affect the product performance in any manner. Color blotches are intended and designed into many designs to enhance the natural beauty. Samples are small select cuts from a slab and do not exhibit all the characteristics of a design. Samples are not fully representative of an entire slab or what will be installed. Product will not be replaced due to these variations. Cambria is durable and more resistant to surface damage than other stone, however, all stone can be damaged by force and no stone is chip-proof. Objects hitting edges particularly at sinks or dishwashers may cause chips. Though a minor knife slip will dull the knife and not harm Cambria, no stone surface is scratch-proof. Surface markings are more visible on monotone designs than multi-colored surfaces. Cambria is not a seamless product; seams are visible. Where there are seams the product pattern and shade can and often change. Natural stone surfaces can be damaged by sudden and/or rapid change of temperature especially near the edges, as well as direct and/or sustained heating of the top. Cambria may not withstand the direct transfer of heat from pots and pans and other cooking units such as electric frying pans, griddles, crockpots, roaster ovens and heat lamps. Therefore, the use of a hot pad or trivet is always recommended to prevent heating the product.

P EX ON TI TA EC & M OR RF PE CE AN T URNKEY COUNTERTOP REPLACEMENT INFORMATION I T EN EM AC N IO AT RM FO IN Removal of existing countertop Installation of new countertop Installation of tile backsplash (if tile ordered from CKF) Installation of scribe molding under new countertop PL RE TURNKEY SERVICES OFFERED BY CKF: EY BACKSPLASH: Keeping existing tile backsplash can create a transition issue between the newly installed countertop and the existing backsplash. In remodel situations where countertops are only being replaced, the thickness of the original countertop may not be the same as the new countertop. Since height difference cannot always be determined until the existing countertop is removed, any additional costs associated with cutting tile or adding tile will be the responsibly of the homeowner. INCIDENTAL DAMAGE: Incidental damage can occur during installation. If possible, final wall preparations, (i.e. painting, wall papering etc.) should not be completed prior to installation. Care will be exercised during the countertop installation however scrapes, punctures, or dings to wall surfaces are possible in the work area, as are scratches to cabinetry. These items are considered incidental damage and are the customer s responsibility to repair. In most cases cabinets can easily be repaired with use of cabinet touch up kit. K RN TU PREPARING YOUR EXISTING CABINETS: In all countertop installations, it is the responsibility of the homeowner or builder for the cabinets to be plumb, level and secured to the wall and or floor. This must be performed prior to field templating. Cabinets that will rest on top of the countertop (i.e. appliance garage, etc.) must be installed after the installation of the new countertop. DAY OF INSTALLATION: Prior to our installers arriving at your home you will want to do the following: Remove all items in the lower cabinets and drawers. During installation dust will occur. You may want to cover special areas of your home or furniture that you want protected from this. Our installation crews do the best they can to contain dust and clean up after themselves, but dust will continue to settle after installers have left your house, so some dust should be expected.

n COUNTERTOP LEAD TIME GUIDE From start to finish allow approximately 20 working days to complete your project. However product availability plays an important role and can impact your lead time. Establishing a firm install date at time of order is very difficult, due to the many moving parts necessary for a complete installation. Variables such as product availability, job site readiness, installation and production capacity all play a role in determine the firm installation date. Below is a guide that provides a look at the steps involved and estimated timeline from order date to install. This again is only an estimate as each job is different and can cause this timeline to adjust. 1. P RE-SALE TEMPLATE: You will be contacted after your CKF salesperson submits selection information to the countertop department. We will come out to your home and perform digital measurements of your countertop, review scope of project and obtain any other measurement for tile or turnkey items. Please remove all items from your countertop surface prior to templator arrival. 2. FINAL QUOTE: After Pre-Sale Template your salesperson will be provided the field information necessary for completion of your final quote. If final selections have not been made at this point, final quote will be delayed until those selections are completed. 3. SUBMITTING THE ORDER: Before the order can be submitted the quote must be approved by you and a 50% down payment received. The order will then be submitted to countertop department for processing and material ordering. 4. COUNTERTOP CAD/SYNERGY APPROVAL: Your order proceeds to the CAD (Computer Automated Design) department for final design. The CAD will show dimensions, sink selection and seam placement of the countertop. This CAD will be sent to you for your approval via email. NOTE: Your order can not move forward until your approval is received. 5. INSTALLATION DATE ESTABLISHED: Once approvals are received your order proceeds to our Installation Scheduler who will confirm all product for your job is now on hand. Upon this confirmation a FIRM install date will be established and communicated to you. 6. FINAL CONFIRMATION: 2 Days prior to Final Install Date CKF will contact you to confirm that your jobsite is ready for installation. Also at this time final payment for your balance due will be requested. Installs cannot begin until final payment has been received.
