To accomplish this, DST encourages Program Managers and Business Unit Leaders to work closely with Global Procurement to identify and add qualified small and diverse businesses to our supplier base so that they are provided with meaningful opportunities to compete for our business. As a global company, DST recognizes that purchasing goods and services from qualified small and diverse suppliers is one of the ways we can support small businesses in the communities where we live and work. We believe that supporting the goals of small and diverse businesses results in the continuous improvement of our supply chain, the expansion of our markets and the overall economic success of our customers, suppliers, and communities. To this end, DST's Supplier Diversity Program is fully endorsed and supported by DST s management. For more information regarding our Supplier Diversity program, please contact supplierdiversity@dstsystems.com. We recognize the contributions and value that locally based suppliers add to our enterprise and to the communities in which we operate. In addition to our Supplier Diversity Program in the US, we support initiatives for locally based suppliers in international locations where DST does business. We are proud that DST is contributing to the success of small, local, minority owned, veteran owned, historically under-utilized business zone owned, disadvantaged, LGBT, and women owned businesses and we look forward to continuing this work in the future. IV. DST Supplier Diversity Program Supplier Diversity Training DST Supplier Diversity Forum/Committee Outreach: KC supplier diversity round table, Chambers of Commerce, and regional supplier diversity council DST Supplier Diversity Registration Reporting of diverse supplier and diverse spend data DST requires diverse suppliers to register to be a supplier for DST by going to our external site: www.dstsystems.com/investor-center/diverse-supplier-registration.html. DST requires suppliers to submit a self-certification form that identifies the business as diverse in order to be classified as such in DST spend reporting. DST also encourages qualified diverse suppliers to obtain third party certification from any regional organization affiliated with National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC ), Women s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or the Small Business Administration (SBA).
