SCHOLARSHIPS See www.montana.edu/international/admissions/scholarships.htm and www.montana.edu/wwwfa/scholarships.html for details. All international undergraduate applications are automatically reviewed for Office of International Programs scholarships. SAT score-based scholarships are automatically awarded to many freshmen entering MSU in the Fall semester. Superior students who will be first (freshmen) at MSU may apply for the Presidential Scholarship. This is an extremely competitive scholarship; applications are due in January for the next Fall semester. See www.montana.edu/honors for information and required forms. WHEN TO APPLY Applications can be started up to one in advance of the beginning of the desired term of entry (for example in September 2011 for entrance in September 2012). Applying at least six s early is strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for processing the application and the exchange of documents, obtaining a student visa and arranging travel. Applications that are submitted without sufficient time for processing will be considered for the next term. Scholarship applicants should apply early. On-campus housing is guaranteed for all undergraduate students, but early applicants are most likely to be assigned to their preferred residence hall. 8/13
