The sound is clear and crisp, yet the reproduction of bass notes gives the sound both volume and body. SP 1 produces a sound image with ample detail, which allows you to actually distinguish and experience the individual artist. Combined in SP 1 are a number of special features, and a patent application has been filed for the unique woofer configuration: Recoil Cancellation. Vibrations in the woofer system are virtually eliminated, which allows for a much clearer sound reproduction of midrange and tweeter. The Recoil Cancellation also ensures that no vibrations are transferred to the floor in the room. SP 1 has two midrange units and one tweeter. The layout is the so called d Appolito configuration, where the tweeter is placed in the middle of the two midrange units. The d Appolito setup has a number of advantages: reduced distortion, improved stereo image and a large listening sweet spot.
