CPA exam is conducted by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). CPA US is considered as the most valued Chartered Accountancy qualification of the world. NASBA represents the 50 State Board of Accountancy and 4 districts which determines the Exam eligibility of the candidates. Different states of the US have different sets of eligibility criteria and a CPA aspirant needs to be evaluated as eligible for a given state before writing for the exams from that state. The relevant State Board of Accountancy declares the Exam score. After passing the exam one needs to apply for the license from the respective State Board of Accountancy in case he wants to practise as a Chartered Accountant in the United States and some more first world countries. You need to send all your educational documents to Logic for the basic evaluation of your CPA eligibility by our American counterparts. All admin supports related to state board selection, exam centre selection, payment of Other Fees. B. Other Fees: (Payable when you are almost ready for Exam) 1. Foreign Credential Evaluation Fee USD 250 2. Exam Fees: The fee for the Uniform CPA Exam could be different in different state. Many states use the fee schedule set by the NASBA (National Association of State Board of Accountancy): AUD: $192.03 BEC: $172.51 FAR: $192.03 REG: $172.51 Total: $729.08 3. Additional fees for candidates writing CPA exams from international Locations (outside the US): Regardless of which Board of Accountancy has declared you eligible for the Exam, in addition to paying any domestic testing fees, you must pay additional fees for each Exam section you plan to take internationally. Those fees per Exam section are: Auditing and Attestation (AUD) $307.97 Business Environment and $327.49 Concepts (BEC) Financial Accounting and $307.97 Reporting (FAR) Regulation (REG) $327.49 4. Application Fee First-time candidates are required to pay the initial application fee, which is around $30-$200 (varies from state to state). For return candidates, a repeat application fee is required for certain but not all states and this fee is generally lower than the initial application fee. 5
