About WOU A private not-for-profit open (ODL) university dedicated to teaching working adult learners. Established and registered in August 2006 First intake of 721 students in January 2007 pursuing 11 undergraduate degree programs About 15,800 students have since experienced learning in an ODL environment with WOU Up until 2014, 903 1st-degree students and 391 postgraduate students have graduated.
