CURRICULUM VITAE Prof. ANTONIO CURNIS I. Personal Informations - Born in February 11 th 1958 in Bergamo (Italy). - Graduated by University of Brescia 23.10.88 - Division of Cardiology of Civil Hospital of Brescia from 1982. In the first part of his experience, he was involved in clinical and non invasive cardiology. During this period he studied physiological and pathological interactions between nervous and cardiovascular system with particular attention to syncope (diagnosis and therapy). After 3 years he frequented Intensive Coronary Care Unit collaborating with assistential and scientific works. From he started his collaboration with Electrophiological Group of his Division. He, on his own, performed PM and ICD implantations, EPS (ventricular and supraventricular arrhythmias) and TC ablations of supraventricular arrhythmias. He participated to scientific productions of his group even with participations to National and International Congresses (see Bibliography). II. Deegrees 1978 Graduation at the Technical Industrial Insitute P. Paleocapa (Bg) 1984 Degree in Medicine and Surgery at Università degli Studi di Brescia by the academic defence on: The electric memory of the heart. T wave alterations (in normally coducted beats) in patients with left bundle branch block. 1984 Qualification test for the medical practice at Università degli Studi di Parma. 1985 Enrollment at the Professional register of the Physician Association in the province of Bergamo. 1988 Speciality in Cardiology at Università degli Studi di Brescia taking the maximum grading and honours discussing the thesis on: Antero/inferior infarction or H infarction.
