IDCORP Business Intelligence Know More, Analyze Better, Decide Wiser

The Architecture IDCORP Business Intelligence architecture is consists of these three categories: 1. ETL Process Extract, transform and load (ETL) is a process in database usage and especially in data warehousing that involves: Extracting data from outside sources Transforming it to fit operational needs (which can include quality levels) Loading it into the end target (database or data warehouse) Deeper Knowledge Right Decision Ad Hoc Decision Making 2. OLAP Process Online analytical processing or OLAP is an approach to swiftly answer multi-dimensional analytical (MDA) queries. OLAP tools enable the system to interactively analyze multidimensional data from multiple perspectives. OLAP consists of three basic analytical operations; Consolidation, Drill down and Slicing and dicing. 3. UI for Monitoring & Analyzing Our system s UI, is highly user-friendly and web based which further to main settings there are two major parts: Intelligent dashboards to perform core analytic and discovery operations. OLAP browser for advanced customized data extraction and analysis IDCORP Business Intelligence Suite IDCORP is introducing one of its new solutions, the Business Intelligence System for top and middle managers of banks and financial institutes to cater their need of critical information and help to ease the decision making process. By integrating and wisely processing data from across your enterprise and delivering highly dynamic reports and analysis, IDCORP BI System reliefs managers from spending so much time searching and also providing them with the information that they didn t technologically afford to have it before. IDCORP BI system is utilizing analytic capabilities, including statistics, predictive analytics, data mining, forecasting and optimization, all integrated within the defined business context, for a faster and accurate decision making. Intelligent Dashboards OLAP Browser OLAP Engine Data Warehouse Accounts Cards ETL Internet Loans DB5, DB6 DB7... Our business intelligence solution focuses on both day-to-day operations of the firm and its historical data. In fact it assembles data from the business as transactions happens and makes reports on it and produce analyzes for it. Today, more people use BI and most of those people are not at that senior managerial or analytical level. Therefore our competitive BI system designed scalable to accommodate much greater user demands.

IDCORP BI Suite Sub-Systems: We designed our BI solutions as a suite of Business Intelligence subsystems. While implementing the complete suite makes an excellent performance possible, we had it in mind to design this solution by renowned methods and standards to make it highly adoptive to non-indigenous systems as well. New Age Complications: Doubt on Integration and Validity of Data Slowness in preparing requested reports and analyses Incapability to prepare some operational reports due to report complications and mass amount of data Excess of Managers Time for data gathering and preparing periodic reports instead of decision making Missing some unclear important Trends by managers in surplus of data and information IDCORP BI System Benefits: What Does Data Warehousing Approach gives us? Marketing Opportunities Customer Acquisition, Retention and Development Optimizing Operation and Cost Managers access to information and reports Account Analysis and forecasting Risk Analytics Competitive Advantage in Decision Making Improving ability to fit right products to right targets Ad Hoc Analysis for compliance with regulations IDCORP BI System Components: Prompt Access to enterprise s thorough information Capacity of Dynamic Provision of all Reports Drill Down Analysis of Enterprise s Information and measures using Aggregations Integrated and Valid Access to all enterprise s information Capacity of Statistical Analyses based on Data Mining Infrastructure

One Affirmative Business Story Even in today s business climate there are some people that might still think of BI systems as some pricy luxuries that doesn t deliver tangible results. But not these kind of thoughts are wrong, everyday there are events happening all around the word proving how essential and critical BI systems are and how they can make remarkable values if right systems get the right data at the right time. Looking at those opposite graphs, you can see a historical analysis of one of our banking customer s central switch transactions. As the public demand for banking services, specially those that includes modern banking channels and cards escalates day by day, this bank faced more and more complains from it s clients regarding the quality of service during the pick working hours. Early observations showed that complains were factual and it started to damage the bank s reputation, specially for their newly offered products and services. But while the chaos and humiliation was on, we asked them to sue the service provider company of their interbank transactions. Based on BIS performance graphs it was clear that the inner bank transactions is executing better than standard expectations but the problem was at the interbank switch which was unable to handle the multi bank load of requests and transactions at the pick working hours. Graph A: Filtered data of a working day transactions Different lines indicates the source and destination of transactions Graph B: Filtered data of a holiday transactions Different lines indicates the source and destination of transactions

Web Based Interface Deliver information to internal and external users in real time and online Enhanced reporting functionalities Simple point and click interface and easy to use tools Superior capabilities to cater mobile and tablet users Intelligent Dashboards Visual Design Flexibility Enormous possibilities in presenting and visualizing the data Engaging multiple / unlimited data sources Quick Access to Information Infinite drill down, roll over and navigational capabilities Centralized data maintenance and management Dynamic visual indicators and alerts Real time and on demand access to information Get the information and data you need to take action without further inquiry into other applications or reports OLAP Browser Simple method for reporting and analyzing for managers and analysts Various business dimensions and data in layered viewing area Data presentation in Summary level or detailed drill down Low cost solution for providing the tools to examine and manage the business Works with data cubes that earlier has been produced in the engine while both local and server cubes are supported A very powerful and well equipped report generator for enabling a diversified usage
