How PatchView+ Works PatchView+ Manager Software Platform The PatchView+ patented technology provides a designated ID number to every IP active equipment port located in the IT cabinets. This enables to identify and track any patching changes made to the network, regardless of vendor or connection methodology (through support for RJ-45, LC or MPO connector interface). This functionality is achieved with the PatchView+ patented Smart ID Key that resides in the switch port and stores the link information.
