Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials The CMCE is an ideal programme for those who are considering a move into management consultancy from a functional discipline, or for those who wish to update or refresh their skills and knowledge of management consultancy. This qualification is designed for those new to consulting, managers interested in becoming an internal consultant or business partner, executives seeking to set up their own consulting practice or for degree/ MBA graduates seeking a career in consulting. Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials Duration: 4 Months (Flexible) Core Unit: The consultancy role and the consultancy cycle The client relationship Communication for consultants Effective project delivery Structured knowledge, research and analysis By the end of the programme consultants will know how to manage client projects and relationships; will understand the consulting cycle; will appreciate different styles of consulting and interventions and will explore their own personal development. Entry Requirements There are no specific entry requirements for the Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials (CMCE), but it is expected that you are intending to enter or are already in a consultancy or business support role (either internally or external). Assessment Assessment is 100% online through distance learning delivery method. Describe the key components of a project to enable effective delivery of a consultancy intervention 6. Describe how you would manage diagnosis and analysis effectively in a given client context 7. Describe how you would present your findings, conclusions and recommendations to the client following research, analysis and diagnosis
