Visiting Your Doctor What to Bring Your Medi-Cal Benefit ID Card (from the State) Your Medi-Cal Benefit ID Card (BIC) is your proof of Medi-Cal enrollment. You are required to present this card to all providers (doctors, pharmacies, hospitals, etc.). AND Your HPSM Medi-Cal ID Card Your HPSM Medi-Cal ID Card displays the name of your primary care physician (PCP) and is your proof of HPSM membership. You must present your HPSM Medi-Cal ID card and your Medi-Cal Benefit Identification Card (BIC) when you see a doctor, fill a prescription at a pharmacy, and receive emergency and hospital services.
